Scenting is once again something that can only take place between an alpha and an omega. This is where an alpha puts his scent over one of the omegas scent glands, and the omega does the same back to the alpha. This can be done through licking and nibbling, so it's kind of like giving a hickey or something like that. Along with this usually there will be kissing involved and such, it's literally a make-out session. However it has drastic consequences, if you scent a lot with an alpha in a short period of time it can bring on an early heat (like we saw with Arthur). An early heat is also usually a strong heat and if the omega has to endure it alone, they could be put on the brink of death. This is because they still need to eat and drink, usually omegas can find a way to force themselves to take a drink or have a bite to eat when they are in heat, yet if the heat is stronger then normal it can be harder for them to use their proper mind, so they end up not drinking or eating anything for an entire week. Luckily if you're scenting that means you should have an alpha that can join you in your heat.
