Hey! My name is Maddie, short for Madilynn. I hate it, so don't say it. Anyways, I love a lot of stuff. And of course, my boyfriend Matt. But we'll save that for the end of the story. I'm a Sophmore in HS. This is just the beginning of the year.

1 year ago:

Ugh. I hate this. Why do I have to go to Mrs. Snider's room to make up a test during lunch? Lunch was MY time. I was walking down the halls, heading toward the science room, aka The Dungeon. Everyone called Mrs. Snider's room The Dungeon because it was in the VERY back of the school, and it was always cold and dark in there. I reached the big heavy door, and pried it open. I slipped through, and it slammed shut behind me. That door is a danger to our physical beings. Literally. Some kid during class got his foot stuck in it and had to go to the hospital.

I looked through the darkness. Mrs. Snider was sitting in the corner at her desk. Her white hair was pinned neatly back, and her frumpy old lady clothes were bunched up. Her eye glasses were perched on the bridge of her nose, and her searing eyes were studying a piece of paper. I guess she didn't hear me, so I coughed.

"I know you're here. There's no need to call attention to yourself." She spat, no even looking at me. I stood there not knowing what to do. "Sit." She ordered me. I quickly plopped into a desk in front, where the most lighting was. She got out of her chair, her legs threatening to give out on her. She handed me a paper, and walked away. Her scent was pushed at me, and I held my breath. She smelled like B.O and fish. What did she do during her lunch? Roll around in the trash? I got a hilarious mental picture of her rolling in the garbage bin in the back of the school, and I started laughing.

"Quiet!" She yelled. "One more outburst and you will fail." She sat back down, and the chair groaned with her weight. I looked down at my test. I wrote my name quickly, then looked to question 1. It was a chemistry question. We had studied chemistry? Since when? I sat in the back corner of this class, so I usually didn't know what was going on.

What do I do? I know! I can Google the answers using my phone! I slipped it out of my pocket, and made sure that the sound was off. It was, I think, so I opened the Internet. I had just gotten this phone, so I wasn't really sure about anything.I typed in Google, and it quickly popped up. I was typing in the question when suddenly, my phone went off. "I'm sexy and I know it" started playing. I guess the sound wasn't off! I tried to shove it into my pocket, but it was too late.
