You again?

"I swivled in my seat and saw Noah standing behind me. Matt turned as well, and he re-adjusted his arm to my shoulders now. It seemed like he was claiming me or something. Noah's mouth tightened at that.

"We are going to a club on Friday." Matt said, completely at ease. How?? I could feel the tension rolling off of Noah in waves.

"Really?" Noah turned to me now, "Are you going?"

"Yeah." I said, quietly. I was a little sad that I was quiet about it, because then it seemed like I was scared to talk to him. I cleared my throat, pretending that it was because of that.

"Really?" Noah seemed a little surprised by this.

"Yes." I said this stronger and much more confidently. Matt rubbed my shoulder and played with my hair.

"Can I talk to you in the hallway for a second?" Noah was being edgy, but I wasn't sure why.

"Okay?" I said it as a question, because Noah was being weird. When I stood up and started to follow him, Matt called after me.

"Stay beautiful!" He chuckled. I smiled and giggled a little. Noah mumbled as he rolled his eyes. I'm guessing that he didn't like Matt.

Once we got into the hallway, I stopped. But Noah did not. He kept on walking. He walked all the way down the hall, then took a left towards The Dungeon and the janitors. I ran after, wondering what the hell he was doing.

He stopped right outside the janitors door, and waited for me to catch up.

"Noah, what are we doing here?" I said once I caught up.

"I wanted to talk to you in a competely private place." He opened the door and ushered me inside. The light from the hallway dimly lit the place, but other than that it was dark. So once Noah came in and shut the door, it was pitch black. I couldn't see Noah, and he was standing a few feet infront of me.

"Oh, sorry, one sec." His voice popped out of the darkness from somewhere in the room. I heard a flick, then there was a tiny bulb of light. The lightbulb above us was weak, so it didn't make too much difference. But it helped. I looked around and saw a broom, a mop, wet floor signs stacked on each other, and some weird bottles of stuff. There was a ratty couch across from the door, but it looked gross so I didn't sit on it.

"I found this place during my freshman year." Noah walked around a little. "Good memories." He paused, smiled, then continued.

"That was really creepy." I backed into and leaned on the wall behind me.

"Sorry, just having minor flashbacks." He stopped walking and turned to me.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, outright. I didn't want to beat around the bush, because this place was freaking me out. And Noah was too.

"How much do you remember from the hospital?" He put his hands in his pockets, as if he was suddenly shy.

"I only remember you telling me to stay away from you, then it all blacks out."

"The nurse said you would remember everything."

"The nurse was wrong." With those words, Noah stopped talking. We stood in silence for a moment.

"So you don't remember anything else?" He seemed like he was happy or scared. He was too hard to read right now.

"No Noah, I don't remember anything else." I sighed. Noah sat down on the couch, and invited me over. I shook my head, and he sighed.

"Maddie, I'm not sure if I should help you remember or not."

"Well, since you have been avoiding me for a week, I think you shouldn't. I am not going to keep doing this. You either are completely in my life, or completely out. I will not have you floating around it." I crossed my arms. I wanted him in my life so badly, but it was his choice now.
