I thought she could do it. She seemed so determined. I thought she could do it.

Well, that right there is your problem Noah, you are an idiot. You can't do anything right.

I shook my head, trying to rid myself of the bad thoughts. They were becoming more and more frequent. Why is that though? Nothing has changed. Except that I am falling in love with a girl who thinks of me as a brother. Idiot!

"Noah, what happened?" David came running up to me. I stayed slumped on the ground.

"I thought she could do it." I whispered.

"What?" Eric asked.

"Nothing. Sorry. Um, Kaylee like attacked her. And then she hurt her head I guess. Well, she had hurt it before. She was in the guys bathroom and saw those stalker pictures, you know, the hot ones? Yeah. One was of her, and she passed out I guess. She was with Matt, and when I went looking for her, I found her laying on the ground." I hated explaining this. I wasn't even sure if what Matt had told me was true.

"How long have you been here?" David asked, sitting down next to me. No, don't sit David, I don't want you here! I just want to see that Maddie is okay, then I want to go home. I needed to call Kaylee and get rid of some built up steam.

"About an hour." I rolled my head back and it hit the wall behind me.

"Have you heard anything?" Eric asked, sitting down on the other side of me that David was not occupying. No, you two idiots, LEAVE! Leave me alone to my self degrading thoughts.

"Nope." I popped the p, trying to show some annoyance.

"Oh, look, Eric, he's getting annoyed!" David scoffed. "And why would you be getting annoyed? Are you unhappy that you don't know what is happening to your beloved woman?" David started using a girly voice, and I did not particularily enjoy that.

"Shut up." I whispered in a quiet, menacing tone.

"Noah, come ON! If you like her so much, then just tell her!" Eric said in a loud voice. I looked at him sharply, and he rolled his eyes. "You don't scare me Noah."

"I should." I growled.

"Well, you don't. You don't scare any of us." David slapped my knee. "We know you too well. And since you met us, you don't do scary stuff anymore. It really is amazing. It's like we turned you around. I'm proud." David put his arm around me and mockingly said all of this. I shoved his arm off and stood up.

"As soon as Maddie is awake, I'm leaving, and I'll show you all just how scary I can be." I wasn't completely serious with my threat, and I was just saying it to piss them off so that MAYBE they would finally leave me alone.

"Noah, you can't do anything. We have made you too human." David was daring with what he was saying, and he was pissing me off now.

"David, shut up. You aren't some big time drug dealer either! You dealed to me and Eric once and you got caught. You can't do anything right." I was angry now, and I wanted them to feel as bad as I do.

"Noah, you didn't even do the drugs! And it was that bitch, Melanie, who told Mrs. Snider that I did it!" David stood up and was yelling at me. Good, I needed a loud screamfest to calm my mind. But I seemed a little more involved than him. Oh, I know. I can drag in past memories that make him angry at me.

"Oh, so now it is some stupid preps fault? You are still angry at me because I stole Daisy from you!" I said this as if it made perfect sense. But it really didn't. I was just trying to get him angry, and it was working.

"Daisy has nothing to do with this subject!" He was fuming. It was actually pretty funny.

"She has everything to do with this subject!" I reciprocated. Eric stood up, making his way to me. No, idiot, sit back down!
