Chapter 13

Jennifer's POV:
(After 4 days)
Once again I am alone in the hallway. As usual Joseph is out for work. All these days living with him I got to know that he is the head of the committee of the vampires and he needs to attend all the important meetings held there. His brothers also attend these meetings and all the final decisions are taken after the approval of the Dracula. Though he is always busy, he spends time with me and even cooks for me. Today I am going to cook for me and him, I have lot of time and I get bored so cooking will help me pass the time and also I will surprise him with the dinner. I am going to make chinese food. I am not a good cook as him but I can do well and everyone likes it and that's what I want.

Finally the dinner is ready and that too on time. I prepared Manchurian, Noodles and Fried Rice, also I baked a chocolate cake for dessert. Now I just have to place it on the table and wait for Joseph to return from his work. He should have been here by now, he is late. I went in the living room and saw Joseph coming. He looked tired. "Oh I am sorry Jennifer, today there was a lot of work and so I got late, you must be hungry, I will prepare something quick" said Joseph rushing towards the kitchen. Stopping him I said "I have already prepared the dinner for both of us, now go get fresh I will wait for you at the table". He relaxed and said in a soft tone "It was of no need, I would have made the dinner". "It's ok Joseph, I was getting bored and so I cooked for us, and I did the right thing you look tired, now go freshen up and meet me at the table" I said walking towards the dinning room. I saw him leaving for his room with a smile on his face.
