Dracula's Castle

Chapter 20

Jennifer's POV:
Soon after Kevin and Lucas came, their wives Katie and Serena arrived. Thought they were royalty they didn't behaved like cruel queens from the stories.

They were very friendly and helped us with the decorations. After completing the work all the men went to have some rest while me Katie and Serena went to prepare something to eat.

"So Jennifer, are you enjoying your stay here" asked Serena. "Yes, it's very humble of Joseph to let me stay here, it's nice and there is a lot to explore" I replied. "Finally we have someone like us to talk to, you must sometimes visit our palaces" said Katie. "I sure will" I replied with a smile.

"So what do you do to pass your time" asked Katie. "I like to read a lot and Joseph let's me borrow books from his study" I replied. We chatted about half hour while preparing some sandwiches and cookies and took them to the living room where Joseph, Kevin and Lucas each were spread on different couches.

Looking at the food tray in our hands, the three of them shouted "FOOD" at the same time and launched at the sandwiches. Before we could stop them the food trays were snatched out of our hands and those three were fighting for it.

Looking at them fighting like kids both Katie, Serena and I started laughing. Seeing us laughing the triplets stopped and a huge blush covered their faces. They all muttered a small "sorry" in unison and passed the trays to us.

I gestured them all to sit while I served the snacks into different dishes for each of them. After passing dishes to everyone I took one for me and sat beside Joseph as Katie was sitting beside Kevin and Serena beside Lucas.

"Wow Jennifer, you cook really delicious" said Katie with a genuine smile on her face. "Looks like brother have some competition" smirked Lucas getting a death glare from Joseph and a smile from me. "But I must admit, you are very beautiful just as Joseph mentioned" said Kevin sending a wink towards Joseph, this made me blush and I said a small "Thank you" to him.

"Anyways it's about time we must leave" said Serena going towards the door. "Bye Jennifer, we both will come tomorrow to give you some company" said Katie following Serena to the door. They both gave me a hug.
Kevin and Lucas gave a hug to Joseph and shook hands with me.
As they were about to leave Lucas looked at me with mischief and said "I forgot to mention that, say Joseph to concentrate on work for some time and the rest he can continue daydreaming about you". This made me blush and I tried to hide my face in my hair. But Before Joseph could catch him, he ran away.

Joseph returned with a sheepish smile scratching the back of his neck and said "Sorry, they just like to tease me a lot". I just shrugged and we both went in, Joseph towards his study while I went to do the dishes.
