Chapter 6: Former Hokage and Student

The sun starts to rise as Boruto and Sarada start waking up. They both get ready and their mothers prepare breakfast for them. After Boruto is done eating, he gets into the shower. Once Boruto is out of the shower, he dresses into his clothes and ties his Hidden Leaf Headband around his head.

Hinata: Have a good day, sweetie! I love you!

Boruto: I love you too, mom! *waves*

Boruto starts heading to the field where Team Konohamaru normally trains.

Sakura: Bye Sarada, kick some butt okay!

Sarada: But it's only training, we haven't gone on a mission in a while.

Sakura: My bad, but have a good day okay?

Sarada: Okay, but where's dad?

Sakura: He's still sleeping.

Sarada: Oh okay, well bye!

Now Sarada starts to head towards the field where Team Konohamaru trains. Boruto arrives at the field first, waiting for everyone else to arrive.

Boruto: Hm, I'm here first huh? Where's Konohamaru-Sensei?

Around 5-10 minutes pass and Sarada arrives.

Sarada: G-good morning, Boruto.

Boruto: Hey Sarada, good morning!

Sarada: So no one's here yet, huh?

Boruto: Nope. I haven't seen Konohamaru-Sensei. Nor Mitsuki.

As Boruto and Sarada try to figure out where Konohamaru is, Sakura cleans up the kitchen and walks upstairs to lay down with Sasuke. Only to find out...

Sakura: *opens the bedroom door* SASUKE, YOU'RE GONE AGAIN!?!? WITHOUT TELLING ME!?!?

Sasuke's gone.
-Back at the Training Field-

Boruto: It's been a good 20 minutes and no one's even here yet!

Sarada: Wait, look! Two guys are coming over here!

Boruto: Maybe it's Konohamaru-Sensei and Mitsuki. They were probably eating out for breakfast without us!

Sarada: No, it isn't them at all. They're much taller than Konohamaru-Sensei and Mitsuki for sure.

As the two figures start to approach closer, they notice one of them.

Sarada: Wait, is that...Dad!?

Boruto: Yeah, it's Uncle Sasuke! What the hell is he doing here anyway? Is he gonna train us!? *gets excited* But who's that other guy with the white-ish grey-ish hair?

Sarada: Yeah, who is that?

Sasuke and the other person finally meet up with Boruto and Sarada.

Sasuke: Hey Sarada, Boruto, good morning to you two. Konohamaru told us that he'll be sick today and won't be able to make it to train you guys. He'll be out until he lets us know what day. Other than that, I'd like you two to meet someone. He is the former Hokage and he is my sensei. His name is

Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi: Hello Boruto, Sarada. *waves his hand*

Boruto: Wait, you were the former Hokage!?

Sarada: *eyes sparkle* FORMER HOKAGE!?

Kakashi: Y-yes, I was the 6th Hokage. Now let me tell you two about myself.

Sasuke: While you do that, I need to go somewhere. I'll be right back.

Kakashi: Alright.

Boruto: Hurry and tell us more about you, Kakashi-Sensei!

Sarada: Yes!

Kakashi: Haha, okay okay. So yes, I was the 6th Hokage. But before that, I was the leader of Team 7. Team 7 included Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. And I gotta say, I didn't expect much from them. Especially from your dad, Boruto. He was a trouble maker who just wanted attention who always blurted out, " I'm going to be the Hokage!" Things like that. But pretty early on, your parents were the first students who passed my test. The Bell Test.

Boruto: The Bell Test? How does it work? How do you pass?

Kakashi: Well, here's how it works. The 2 bells will be attached to me, hanging out of my pocket. In order to pass the test, out of the 3 people in the team, only 2 can get a bell. One person gets one bell.

Sarada: Wait so what happens to the other person who doesn't get a bell?

Kakashi: They're sent back to the academy.

Sarada: I see...

Boruto: That sounds hard...so who was sent back to the academy!? Was it my dad, Sasuke, or Sakura?

Kakashi: Neither one. The reason they all passed and neither one was sent back was because -
Sasuke comes back.

Sasuke: I'm back.

Boruto & Sarada: WAIT WHAT!?

Kakashi: So you actually went to go buy them?

Sasuke: Yep.

Sarada: I can't believe my dad bought...
