Chapter 11: The Infinite Tsukiyomi

Sarada: Boruto! Wake up!!

Sarada starts shaking Boruto until he wakes up.

Sarada: Boruto, hurry!!

Boruto finally wakes up.

Boruto: Sarada!? What happened!?!?

Sarada: Look at the moon...

Boruto: Why is the moon red...and if it's night, why is there light? The moon looks like the Sharingan...

Sarada: You're right...it does look the Sharingan...how did this happen?

The two start looking around and find that people are frozen looking at the moon...but there's something different about their eyes...

Boruto: Whoa, what's wrong with their eyes!?

Sarada: I'm not even sure...I could've sworn I've seen those eyes before!

Boruto: But why do they all have them...and why are they all frozen, staring at the moon!?

Sarada: I'm not sure but this is creepy...

Boruto starts looking at the sky and the moon and he notices a figure by the blood red moon with the Sharingan eye.

Boruto: Why aren't we frozen...and look! There's someone by the moon!

Sarada: Who is he...

Boruto: Maybe he has something to do with all this...

Sarada: Boruto look, there's a big tree!

Boruto: Yeah, this entire thing is weird....I'm getting strange vibes...

The figure then starts to approach Boruto and Sarada.

Sarada: He's coming here...

Boruto: Get behind me, I'll protect you if anything happens!

Sarada gets behind Boruto and she takes out a kunai. The figure starts to speak.

Voice: You two...how are you not captured within the Infinite Tsukiyomi?

Boruto: How should we know!? And who are you!?

Voice: No need to get worked up.

Boruto: Answer my question!

Voice: Hm, I'm Madara Uchiha of the Uchiha Clan.

Boruto: Uchiha?

Sarada: You're an Uchiha!?

Madara: Indeed.

Sarada: Your name sounds familiar...

Madara: Boy, who are you?

Boruto: I'm Boruto Uzumaki! Believe it!

Madara: Uzumaki? Boruto? Your last name, are you the son of Naruto Uzumaki?

Boruto: Yeah, he's my dad and also the Seventh Hokage!

Madara: I see...and you, the girl, who are you?

Sarada: I'm...I'm Sarada...Sarada Uchiha...

Madara: A fellow Uchiha? Wonderful. Join me.

Sarada: What!?

Boruto: Hey, what did you say!?

Madara: This has nothing to do with you!

Madara, with the help of his staff, he smacks Boruto across the face and Boruto is sent flying to the ground.

Sarada: BORUTO!

Madara walks over to the prone Boruto.

Madara: You're pathetic.

Madara violently punctures a black iron bar through the body of Boruto and Boruto starts to cough out blood.

Sarada: BORUTO!!!

Sarada runs over to Boruto with tears in her eyes as she starts to cry.

Sarada: BORUTO NO!!!!

Sarada gets on her knees and she starts to hold Boruto's hands as he breathes his last breaths.

Boruto: Sarada...I'm sorry...I was supposed to be there when you become Hokage...and now I can't do that...I'm sorry...

Sarada: Boruto...you'll always be with me...in my heart...I love you...!

Boruto: I love you too...Sarada...

Boruto's pulse stops. His heart stops beating...

Sarada: NO, BORUTO! WAKE UP...PLEASE!!!

Sarada starts to cry as he holds him close to her.

Sarada: Wake up...please...

.

Voice: Hey, wake up Sarada. It's already afternoon!

Sarada wakes up from her nap and she sees Boruto smiling brightly at her.

Sarada: Boruto!!

Sarada hugs Boruto tightly.

Boruto: It's nice to see you too Sarada! *hugs her back*

Sarada: You aren't dead!!

She releases her arms.

Boruto: Yeah, I'm not. Why would I be?

Sarada: I...I saw you die right in front of my eyes!

Boruto: Oh I see...maybe that's why you were yelling my name and telling me to wake up...

Sarada: What do you mean...

Boruto: You were dreaming, silly!

Sarada's face becomes bright red.

Sarada: O-oh I was?

Boruto: Yeah!

Sarada: You should've woken me up!

Boruto: Haha, sorry. *smiles* I was caught in your beauty...it's so cute when you sleep!

Sarada: D-don't say that out loud! Idiot!

Sarada smacks Boruto's shoulder.

Boruto: Sorry, haha!

Sarada: Anyways...did you walk the tree correctly?

Boruto: Of course I did!

Sarada: Great!

Boruto: Hey, where is everyone by the way?

Sarada: Oh, we got a day off today. We're also getting a day off tomorrow since we have a family dinner.

Boruto: Great! I felt so exhausted.

Sarada: Hey Boruto...

Boruto: Yeah?

Sarada: Do you want to walk around the village with me?

Boruto: Sure thing!

Sarada: Yay! (Yes! Finally some alone time for me and Boruto! 💕)

Boruto stands up and sticks out his hand at Sarada.

Boruto: Need a hand?

Sarada: *blushes as she grabs his hand* Thanks...

After Boruto helps Sarada up, they both walk off the field and start to walk around the Village Hidden in the Leaves.
