Chapter 19: ヘビ

~POOF~

Garuda, Sasuke's personal summon, appears after Sasuke performs the Summoning Jutsu. Sasuke quickly grabs two scrolls for Garuda to deliver. One to Sakura, and the other to the police force.

Sasuke: Garuda, take this to Sakura and the other to the police force.

Sasuke opens the window in the office. The hawk's wings start to flap and he leaves.

Sasuke: He'll be quick, Hinata. Don't worry.

Hinata: Alright...thank you.

As Garuda flies in the air, Boruto and Sarada are still eating. However, from where Boruto is sitting, he can spot the hawk.

Boruto: Hey isn't that your dad's hawk?

Sarada turns around.

Sarada: Yeah, you're right! It looks it's coming from the direction of the Hokage Mansion.

Boruto: What? That's strange...we should go check.

Sarada: I agree, let's go.

Boruto grabs his Hidden Leaf headband and ties it around his forehead.

Sarada: What are you putting it on for?

Boruto: For dramatic effect!

The two leave the house and start running towards the Hokage Mansion.

Meanwhile, Garuda makes it to the Uchiha Household. Garuda appears at the window of Sasuke and Sakura. Sakura, surprised, notices and opens the window. She grabs the scroll and gently pets Garuda. Garuda then flies off to the station.

Sakura: From Sasuke, huh? Why couldn't he drop by...I hope he didn't leave again without telling me.

Sakura opens the scroll:

Sakura, head to the Hokage Mansion NOW. Naruto is unconscious and his well-being is unknown. He seems fine but we need you here.
-Sasuke

Sakura: Dammit, I'm on my way.

Sakura quickly makes haste to the Hokage Mansion.

One other person is particular notices Sasuke's summon.

Mitsuki: Sasuke's hawk. Is that supposed to happen?

Boruto and Sarada arrive at the Mansion and start making their way towards the Hokage's office.

Boruto: I hope my dad is okay...he can be such an idiot!

Sarada: Don't jump to conclusions, I'm sure he's fine.

As they run up the stairs, they finally make it to the office. They look upon the open doors and witness the scene. Hinata notices Boruto and Sarada.

Hinata: Boruto!? What are you doing here!?

After hearing Hinata speak of Boruto's name, Sasuke turns around.

Sasuke: What are you two doing here?

Boruto runs up to Naruto and starts to slowly tear up.

Boruto: What happened to my dad!?

Hinata: Boruto -

Sasuke interrupts.

Sasuke: We're not sure. Currently, he's unconscious. He might've been knocked out way before your mom even came here.

Sarada: Who did this? Do you know?
