Shikamaru: Damn, where's Naruto at? I thought he was gonna come back.
As Shikamaru is about to open the door to leave the Hokage's office to go find Naruto, the door opens before he could lay his hand on it.
Shikamaru: What the...
The door swings open quickly.
Naruto: SHIKAMARU YOU GOTTA SAVE ME!
Shikamaru stares at Naruto with such a confused expression.
Shikamaru: Naruto, why in the hell are you wearing makeup?
Naruto: IT WAS HIMA, SHE HELD ME HOSTAGE IN HER ROOM AND SHE WOULDN'T LET ME LEAVE!
Shikamaru: How did you manage to escape?
Shikamaru hands Naruto a towel to wipe the makeup off his face.
Naruto: Thanks, all I did was use the substitution jutsu.
Shikamaru: I see...
Naruto: Also, is it fine if I leave for the rest of the day? I don't want my family to know I'm gone and I told them I'd stay..
Shikamaru: You really are pushing your luck, Naruto. But you are a busy man, go for it. I'll handle the rest of the evening.
Naruto: Thank you, Shikamaru! You really are a lifesaver!
A voice is suddenly heard from the hallway...
Voice: Daddy...come back!
Shikamaru: What the hell was that!?
A small figure stands at the door with demonic, glowing red eyes.
Naruto: IT'S HIMA!
Shikamaru: Why is she even here!?
Hima lunges towards Naruto but he suddenly turns into a log.
Shikamaru: A substitution!?
Hima stands still in surprise. She looks down as her face grows dark. She then looks back at Shikamaru with an evil grin; demonic eyes growing even more red than before.
Shikamaru: Dammit Naruto...
As Hima was about to lunge towards Shikamaru, before she can even move, she gets caught within a shadow.
Shikamaru: What..?
Hima struggles to break free. Shikamaru examines where the shadow was coming from and who used it on her.
Voice: Don't worry, I have her, dad!
Shikamaru: Shikadai?
Shikamaru follows the shadow to see that it was Shikadai, with Naruto right behind him.
Naruto: Thanks, Shikadai.
Shikadai: Yeah, don't mention it Lord Seventh!
Shikamaru: Naruto, did you invite him here?
Naruto: Of course I did! Oh, and you can release Hima now, she already seems a bit tired.
Shikadai releases Himawari from the jutsu and she just falls flat on her butt and sleeps.
Shikadai: Hey dad, I don't really see you around often but I'd really like to spend some time with you. Even if you're working, I'd like to help.
