Mr Harris was becoming increasingly despondent and frustrated with his mission to uncover the source of information leaking from somewhere within the vast industrial complex of British Infrastructure.

His frustration was boiling over in to anger which was fuelled by the fact his boss at Mi5 was a pompous prat who enjoyed keeping secrets even to the point that it is hindering Harris's work to catch either a Soviet Spy or Soviet mole...or possibly both Harris thought.

Harris sat at his desk at Mi5 HQ which was a short distance upriver from the House of Parliament and overlooked the River Thames. The stone building with colonnades looked like something from the Roman Empire which gave the building an imposing and authoritative frontage.

Harris was dragged from his despondency by the incessant ringing of the telephone on his desk. He vaguely stared into the distance and let the phone ring. He was so despondent that the sound of the ringing telephone sitting right next to him on his desk sounded in his mind as if it were far away in the distance.

A woman at another desk gave an annoyed look and tapped her lamp with a pencil and pointed aggressively at Harris and caught his eye. Without breaking his gaze he grabbed the phone and answered.

Harris was overjoyed; the phone call had provided him with his first proper lead! Finally some hard information that narrowed down the scope of his investigation. A Mr Smith of the Internal Investigations Dept. at London Underground HQ had been reported missing. According to initial Police investigations he had made some unexpected visits to a room filled with top secret documents and then disappeared. Harris suspected that either Mr Smith was a Soviet spy or had been providing information to a Soviet spy. This meant he had either defected, been recalled to Moscow or had been killed by the KGB as he was no longer of use and a security risk.

Harris grabs his coat and rushes out the door to the London Underground HQ to investigate.
