John left his flat in a panic and headed for the train station to catch the Tube into London as he needed to speak to Grace as soon as possible. The longer he left it the greater the risk Smith would regain his memory or Vince would find Smith and finish the job and kill him for sure.
John eventually found Grace at work and had no time for subtlety so spoke to her rapidly to one side as passengers got on and off the trains passing along the busy platform.
Grace was incredulous 'you are certain it was the same man?' she said to John after he had explained his earlier encounter with Smith, the man he thought murdered and then his coincidental meeting soon after with Vince Taft said murderer and Soviet spy!
'I'm certain. If Vince finds him he will kill him this time for sure. He can't leave a man wandering the streets who might identify him as an attempted murderer, not when a Police investigation into him could uncover that he is a Soviet spy. The man clearly didn't remember me and I am guessing doesn't remember who he is but how long will that last? It could be permeant memory loss or it could come back to him within days if not hours!' John responded.
Grace was very concerned. They needed to establish who they could trust with the information about the planned destruction of the Centre Point Tower so they could expose that secret to the appropriate authority and divulge the identity of Vince Taft as a Soviet spy! They would need some evidence to be taken seriously but how could they get evidence that Vince Taft was a spy without him becoming suspicious?
'Any further information from Crazy George or Robbie?' Grace enquired with hope in her voice.
'Only what I already told you about the planning permission for the Centre Point Tower irregularities and the fact that the building has been empty ever since it was built and remains empty. Crazy George, or Dave as he is really called was helpful and seemed keen to help but I have yet to hear anything from him.' John responded pensively.
Grace listened and then started to think whilst John looked on hoping for some more wisdom from Grace. Grace had an idea, a potentially brilliant idea but risky.
'Wait here whilst I go and make an excuse to the boss and then we will head back to mine to plan our next move. There is no time to waste...for all we know Vince could of found Smith and killed him.' Grace said with a mix of fear and excitement.

John and Grace arrive at her flat and go through the street level front door then up the staircase immediately inside the door. They talk at length over Graces proposed solution and after a couple of rounds of tea the matter is settled.
John leaves the flat first and heads off into town and shortly thereafter Grace leaves and heads to a friend's house around the corner.
