Hospital

I couldn't move. My is ion was blurring. Billy pulled me onto his lap and we wheeled over to the porch. Jacobs arms were around me. He didn't ask any questions, he just carried me inside.

Billy hesitates. He try's to tell me something but his voice sounds muffled to me. I try to focus but I can't. What's wrong with me?

"Charlie, you have to listen to me!"

"Dad?" Jacob warns. "You can't!"

I'm barely listening and they can tell that. Billy whispers, "I'll make something up. But. Cat leave him like this. He already thinks I'm crazy!"

Billy looks at me, concerned. He speaks slow and soft. "I adopted one of the wolfs. He feels like my son." He looks down.

He adds, "I know you think I'm crazy but...."

I finally find either power to talk, "I don't think your crazy." I say.

My eyelids fall closed and I can't seem to open them.....

The next thing I know I see blinding light. I open my eyes to see carslie. Te doctor, he is a young looking doctor but is very efficient, he smiles, a golden smile.

I try to smile back, it comes out weak.

"How do you feel, Charlie?"

I grunt, but manage to say, "I've been better."

My mouth feels extremely dry. I need water. I usually don't admit to feeling bad. But right now I feel terrible.

My eyelids close and I can't open them. I feel Jacobs arms and he says, "I think the vampire bit him."

I couldn't have heard that right. Vampire, I don't believe in that. Then Jacob snarled and adds, "I can't believe you almost told him I was a werewolf!"

Billy says, "I was never going to tell him. I was just going to make something up!"

I heard Jacob curse. Then I couldn't hear anything else. I felt pain shoot through my body. I screamed and screamed. I felt I was being devoured by fire. I do t know how long had passed but I finally opened my eyes. I felt a surge of pain.

I tried to sit up and then fèlt myself go under again, for more pain.

I woke up feeling better but super thirsty. I slowly opened my eyes not wanting my head to ache. But I felt strangely light. I glanced around the room and noticed a bunch of small details I never had. The little dew on the grass. How bright the light was.

That's when a familiar face came in the door. I smiled And saw the familiar young face of doctor Carslie. He smiled and his face was practically flowing.

"How do you feel?" He asked. Concern cornering at his eyes.

"Better, but I'm super thirsty."

He then came closer and looked me in the eyes, he gasped. "No!" He mumbled. He ran out of the room leaving me like what the hell just happened?

Jacob came into see me next. It was almost an hour later and I've still heard nothing from carslie. Jacob almost gagged as he came in. He tried to blow it off but I had noticed.

"Do I look that bad? What happened to me?"

He tried to smile "nothing to worry about."

He looked at me the same way carslie did but unlike him, he didn't run away.

"Why did you look at me like that?" I asked him.

"Like what?" He asked innocently.

He then quickly changed the subject. "Sorry my dad didn't come. He can't come."

I shrugged, "that's ok, but you still didn't answer my question."

Again he didn't answer, "I'm sorry Charlie, I have to go."

He walked out of the room. I hear him yell at carslie. "Don't you dare tell him!"

The next words he said shocked me, "do you want him to die!"

I'm going to die. What doi have? Someone needs to tell me!

I saw carslie enter he quickly regained his posture. Right now my throat was killing me, but I tried to ignore it.

"What's wrong with me?" I asked.

"Nothing is wrong with you, Charlie."

He then added, "there is something I have to tel, you though."

Here it comes. I probably have cancer and im going to die. Random terrible thought went through my head. But what he said I hadn't even thought about.

"I am a vampire." He didn't even wait for my reaction he just slide it out his fangs to prove it.

I was speechless. Jacob is a werewolf and the doctor I have known forever is a vampire. I didn't get why he was telling me this.

"Be free to move around." He said, and with that he left.

At first I didn't want to move. But then I jerked myself up and practically transported to the other end of the room. When did I become so fast?

Then I looked in the mirror. My clothes I had on are still on. I'm in my sheriff duty clothes and they are muddy and a little bit with blood. I smelled the blood and hungered for it. I was disgusted but yet hungry for it.

I looked at my hair next and a red cop aught my eye. Where is it coming from? That's when I noticed my eyes, they were blood shot red. I jumped back. What the....

Carslie came in a nd smiled.

"Why the hell are my eyes red?"

"Charlie...." He spoke slow and calm as if to a child. "You were bitten by a vampire. You are one of us now."

Us? Wait what? No this can't be happening! Then my phone rang. I was still annoyed and confused but picked it up to find Bella on the other end.

"Dad, I'm coming over there soon. See you, bye."

"No Bella you can't come!"

Then I heard the click. I was doomed. I wanted to shoot of carslies head! I wanted to just be able to disappear.
