Chapter Seven

Presleigh's POV
We had just finished the show and I was going out to my place for the meet and greet. I was standing with Hunter and Brandon. We were talking about what we were going to do with Maddy. "We can't just give her back," I whispered to Hunter while we waited for Brandon to finish up with a fan. "I know, that is the last thing I want to do." I had an idea but it was a long shot and I don't think Hunter would go for it. I thought about it for a minute, contemplating whether or not to tell him my plan. "Hunter," he looked at me. "I want custody of Maddy," I told him. He looked a little bit taken back, but he thought for a minute. "Then that's  what we're going to do," he told me with a smile on his face. I smiled from ear to ear and I guess I was in the moment because I grabbed him and kissed him. Oops. I was positive he was gonna pull back and run away cuz I'm a potato but he didn't. He kissed back. I pulled away with a huge smile plastered on my face. Hunter smiled and said, "Presleigh, will you be my girlfriend?" I smiled even bigger if that was even physically possible and said yes. "I mean I'm going to need someone to help me take care of Maddy," I joked. He just laughed and kissed my forehead. I couldn't possibly be happier than I was right now. I suddenly heard screams and cheers from around me. I guess I forgot there were fans still around us. I laughed and leaned into Hunter's side. Things can't get any better.

Brielle's POV
I was standing with Jacob and Allie taking pictures with fans. I only had one thing on my mind. Jacob. I had no idea what to think of him right now. He pretty much saved my life. Bryce would have killed me and I knew that. I couldn't help but wonder why Jacob had helped me. I mean, yeah he's nice and stuff, but just because you're nice, doesn't mean you throw down with a girls abusive ex. I decided it was time I asked Jacob about the situation. "Hey Jacob, can I talk to you for just a sec?" I asked him once we were on break. He nodded his head smiling and followed me. God, that smile. Wait, what? "What did you want to talk about?" he asked me. I got straight to the point, "Jacob, why did you fight Bryce back there?" He just looked down and sighed. "Because I couldn't stand seeing him hurt you. It's crazy right now. My head is filled with emotions I didn't even know existed. It's like, when you smile, I smile. When you cry, I cry. When you laugh, I can't help but laugh too. You make my whole day brighter just by standing next to me. You make the bad days good and the good days even better. What I'm trying to say is, I like you Brielle. I really really like you." I stood there shocked. My head was full of thoughts. Most bad. Like, Why would he like me? He probably just feels bad for me. This is exactly what Bryce said. That one got me. I ran out of the room with out another word. I sat in a corner and cried. Why me?

Allie's POV
I was talking to a fan when I saw Brielle run out of a room crying. I finished up with the fan, and decided to see what went down in there. I walked into the room and I was confused by what I saw. I saw Jacob sitting on the floor running his hands through his hair obviously frustrated, and his phone on the other side of the room probably broken. "Jacob, what's going on?" I asked him. He looked up at me and sighed, "I just confessed my feelings to Brielle and she totally shot me down!"Wait what? I thought she liked him! "I'm sure she's just stressed out. Between you and me," I said leaning closer to his ear. "She totally likes you. She'll come around," I assured him. He nodded smiling, "Thanks Allie, that gave me some hope." "No problem. Now, I'm pretty sure there's about 150 girls out there dying to meet you," I said standing up. He laughed and followed me out of the room. I'm glad I could help him, but I have to ask Brielle what the hecks going on with her.
