Chapter Twenty-Two

Presleigh's POV
The last 8 1/2 months have been filled with doctors appointments, many trips to the store to soothe my crazy cravings, and spending time with our friends. After finding out about the baby, my parents kicked me out and I'll admit, it was hard at first. But Christine promised to take care of us when we needed her to. Surprisingly, she eventually came around to the idea of being a grandma. Hunter and I are going stronger than ever and are super excited to finally meet our baby. We decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise so the nursery is gender neutral. The baby will be coming any day now and I'm growing a little anxious because I'm actually terrified of child birth. But it's comforting knowing that I'll have people who care about me there with me. Jacob and Brielle are still dating and are so happy together. Bryce was arrested about 2 months ago for abusing Brielle. Everything has slowed down and it's nice. Daniel and Allie made up and started dating again and are doing really well. Blake just gave Rachel a promise ring and it was probably the sweetest thing I've ever seen. Everyone is happy and it's so great considering how crazy things were before.

I was making dinner for Hunter and everyone because we were celebrating our 1 year. We were so excited that we stuck together for this long. I honestly don't know what I would do with out his love and support. I was chopping the potatoes when I felt a sharp pain and something run down my leg. I looked down scared and saw water all over the floor. Hunter and I were home alone and Christine and the other boys were in Florida visiting family. "HUNTER!!" I yelled both in fear and pain. "Yeah? What do you nee-" he stopped when he saw the floor. "The baby's coming," I told him scared. Thankfully Hunter had gotten his license so we didn't have to call an ambulance. He grabbed his keys and the baby bag we packed a month ago, grabbed my hand and helped me out the door. I yelped as another pain shot through my body and Hunter looked at me terrified. He called his mom on the way to the hospital and she said she was going to get on a plane as soon as she could. He then called Brielle, Allie, and Rachel, telling them to meet us at the hospital. Hunter helped me into the emergency room and then he lost it. "HELP SOMEONE HELP MY GIRLFRIEND IS IN LABOR!!" I would've laughed at him but I was too busy trying to cope with the pain. A nurse rushed over to us and sat me in a wheel chair, taking us to a room. While they were hooking me up to the machines, the girls walked in and they all had stuff for the baby. After about an hour of contractions, the finally gave me an epidural to help with the pain. At about 11:30, the doctor told me it was time to start pushing. Hunter held my hand while the girls held my legs. Finally, I heard a cry. I started to cry and I looked up at Hunter and he was crying too. "I'm so proud of you," he told me while looking at our beautiful baby boy. "What's his name?" the girls asked in unison. "Kyler William," I responded smiling so big. He had Hunters eyes. "He has your smile," Hunter told me kissing the top of my head. "Yeah, I guess he does," I responded giggling and wiping a tear and my hair out of my face.

Who knew one 6 second video could change your whole life. I never knew one app could change my whole life. Now I have a wonderful boyfriend and a handsome baby boy. Huh. I guess it only took 6 seconds.
