Chapter Sixteen

Presleigh's POV
I was in Hunter, Brandon, Brielle, and my room getting ready for the event. I slipped on some black shorts, a white crop top that says "East Coast", and my black lace toms. I did my hair and touched up on my makeup and walked out of the room. I walked out of the lobby and down the street looking for a Starbucks. I finally found one, and I entered the building. I ordered my Carmel Frap and sat down in a booth. I was scrolling through my phone for a while and a girl came up to me. "Hi, I'm Rachel, Blake's girlfriend," she told me. Girlfriend? "He told me that you were here and he told me to come here to meet you." I nodded and asked her to sit down. "So, how old are you?" I asked her. "I'm fifteen." I nodded, again. It was really awkward for a bit until I heard a sudden burst of noise. I looked up, and in walked Hunter, Blake, Brandon, Brielle, and Jacob. Brielle was being dragged by the feet by Brandon. "Excuse me sir, she's mine," Jacob said playfully shoving Brandon. Then, he took her ankles out of Brandon's hands and he dragged her to the counter. They ordered, then sat down at the booth with Rachel and me. Hunter sat down next to me and slung his arm over my shoulder. "I missed you," he told me. "I literally just saw you twenty minutes ago," I said laughing. He kissed my forehead and I leaned into his side. I looked over and saw Jacob tap Brielle's nose with his straw and she slapped him. I laughed and looked at Blake and Rachel. She was sitting on his lap and his head was rested on her shoulder. Then there was Brandon. "I need a girlfriend," Brandon said, pouting. I laughed at him and looked up at Hunter. I'm so glad I have him.

Brielle's POV
We walked out of Starbucks and Jacob took my hand in his. I looked up at him and smiled. He made me really happy. We were walking back to the hotel when Brandon got an idea. "Guys, you all should have a race to see who can get to the hotel the fastest with their girlfriend on their back," he suggested. We all agreed and Jacob bent down so I could get on his back. He got a good grip on me and I slung my arms around his neck. "Ready, Set, Go!" Brandon yelled. "Onwards my trusty steed!" I heard Presleigh yelling at Hunter. We made it back to the hotel and Jacob and I won. Probably because every time he slowed down, I would kick him in the side. Let's just say I'm a little competitive. When we made it back to the hotel, everyone was already in the van waiting on us. We made it to the venue and we were already twenty-five minutes late for sound check. Oops. We finished up with sound check and we went backstage to wait for the show to start. Mahogany called out our names individually and we ran out on stage. We finished up the show and it was time for the meet and greet. I stood with Allie and Presleigh, and we met so many nice people. I met this one girl who said my vines were the only reason she was still breathing. We had a heart to heart and I followed her on all of my social medias. We took a lot of savage pictures and the family photos were fun too. A little girl came up to us and she was crying telling us how much she loved us. The event today was overall a success.

Allie's POV
We finished up the event and to say I was tired was an understatement. I sat down on the couch and drank some water. I was scrolling through Instagram and I posted the photo of me and the girls with the little girl. I felt the couch dip and I looked over to see who it was. "I don't want to talk to you," I told Daniel. "I know you don't, and I completely understand. But please, give me five minutes to explain," he begged. "Fine," I agreed. He took a deep breath before starting. "Look Allie, I know I was completely out of line when I said those things. You are the farthest thing from a slut and I don't know what was going on with me. It's just that my grandpa died and people keep hating on me and I feel like I always have to empress someone. I'm also scared of disappointing everyone. But Allie, I'm more scared of disappointing you," he told me with tears running down his face. "Daniel, you never disappoint me. We may have our ups and downs, but that's what makes us human," I reassured him. He scooted closer to me and engulfed me in his arms. We just sat like that for a long time, cuddling. He was playing with my hair and I was messing with the ends of the strings on his sweatshirt. He was singing lyrics in my ear and let me is tell you, it was the most relaxing thing ever. I eventually fell asleep to the sound of Daniel singing All I Want into my ear.
