Chapter Four

Brielle's POV
We were sitting in the car on our way to the hotel. I looked to my left and saw Presleigh talking to Hunter. Awwww, I thought to myself. Allie was sitting next to me on her phone scrolling through Instagram. I looked around the car and saw Jacob staring at me. I was a little freaked out, but it was kinda cute. I waved at him and he snapped out of his daze, putting his head down blushing. I laughed to myself as we pulled into the hotel parking lot. We got into the lobby and my jaw was on the floor. It was gorgeous! High ceilings, descending staircases, flowers. We got our room assignments and of course I was with the girls. Bart also told us that we had a free day tomorrow but the rest of the week we had work. I sighed and made my way to the elevator. I guess we thought it was a good idea to all get on the elevator at the same time. I was pressed against the wall face-to-face with Jacob. "Hey," I said to him. He just laughed and said, "Hi there!" He looked me in the eyes and just looked at me. I blushed looking down. Finally after what felt like forever, we got off the elevator. I was honestly so tired so the girls and I went to our room to sleep. The guys went into Cameron's room and played truth or dare. I fell asleep thinking about how this all happened.

Jacob's POV
God, what is going on with me? I've never felt this way about anyone before. My thoughts were interrupted by Brandon asking me truth or dare. "Truth," I said. The guys were yelling things at me like: scaredy cat, wuss, baby. But I didn't care, I couldn't make a fool of myself in front of Brielle. "Out of all of the new girls, who do you have your eye on?" he asked me, with a smirk on his face. I will smack that smirk right off your face, I thought to myself. I had already told Brandon that I liked Brielle. "Brielle," I mumbled. I saw Hunter's eyes go wide. "Dude, hate to break it to you, but Brielle has a boyfriend," Hunter told me. I should've known a girl like her wouldn't be single. I did this to myself. I let myself fall for someone, then I end up heartbroken. I got up and left, I couldn't handle myself. I decided the best idea was to just go to bed. I fell asleep dreaming about Brielle.

Allie's POV
I woke up this morning feeling great, I looked over and Presleigh wasn't beside me. I shrugged and got up to go shower. As I got out of bed I stepped on something, or someone rather. I looked down and saw Presleigh on the floor. She groaned as I walked into the bathroom laughing. I got in the shower, did my stuff and got out so I could finish getting ready. I got dressed and started on my hair. I just decided to straighten my hair today. I did my makeup and left the bathroom. Brielle was still sleeping and Presleigh was getting her clothes picked out. She went into the bathroom and I decided to go get breakfast. I went down to the lobby and decided to go to Starbucks. When I got my drink I sat down in a booth and got on my phone. After a while I felt someone sit down across from me. I looked up and saw Daniel. I smiled at him and he smiled back. We talked about random things until Presleigh texted me that we were going to walk around Dallas. We got up threw away our trash and made our way back to the hotel. I felt someone reaching for my hand, I looked down and saw Daniel's hand entertwined with mine. I smiled and we made our way into the lobby where everyone was waiting.

Presleigh's POV
After Allie and Daniel got back from wherever they were we walked out into the city of Dallas. I was walking by myself just taking everything in. I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was Hunter. "Hey," I said. Hey, that's all you can think of? I mentally scolded myself. He just laughed and I awkwardly laughed with him. "Come with me, I want to show you something," he told me. I agreed and we separated ourselves from the group. We made our way to this really cute park. I saw some swings and I ran for them. What? I'm like five, I know. Hunter laughed running after me. We sat on the swings and just looked around. I saw some kids playing in the sand box. Then I saw a mom walking with her baby in the stroller. But then, I saw a little girl crying on a bench. I got up as Hunter looked at me confused. I walked over to the little girl and sat next to her. "Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her. She looked up at me and I was surprised by what I saw. She had bruises all over her face and her lip was busted. "My daddy just killed mommy," she told me. By now Hunter was next to me talking to the little girl. She told us her story and we decided to take her with us because it wasn't safe for her to go home. She was walking in front of us laughing and skipping. I smiled at her. "You're gonna be a good mom," Hunter told me. I blushed and laughed. We found he group and we decided to get icecream before we explained the little girl.
