Chapter 2- Starting Off New

~Jayda's POV~

It's my first day. I just walked into the school building and my heart is already racing. I miss Brianna. She would make this whole situation a lot easier.

???: Hey, are you new here?

Me: Um, yea.

???: Ohh, hi! I'm Bridget!

Me: Hi, I'm Jayda! Soo...are you busy right now?

Bridget: No, not at all. I'd be happy to give you a tour.

Me: Thanks! I'm glad we met.

Bridget: Me too. *smiles sweetly*

It has been a good day so far. I mean it is still morning and first period hasn't started yet. It's good news that I am in the same home room as Bridget. I'm happy I made a new friend right away. I guess Brianna and Dylan were right. I shouldn't be worried, I should be myself.

It's the end of home room. I hope my first class isn't so boring. BOREDOM KILLS. As the bell rings, people start heading out. Bridget and I are the last ones to walk out the door when suddenly... I bump into this really cute guy.

???: Ohh, sorry. My fault.

Me: Noo, it's ok. *stares into his pretty, green eyes*

???: Are you ok? My name is Daniel, by the way.

Me: Yea, I'm fine. Nice to meet you Daniel. My name's Jayda, I'm new here.

Daniel: Cool. You're pretty cute.

Me: *blushes* Thanks. You're not so bad yourself. *giggles*

Daniel: Hehe. Thanks. I hope we can see each other again. Maybe lunch?

Me: Yea, sure. Can't wait.

Bridget: Oooh girl!

Me: Did that just happen?

Bridget: Yup. You got a date on your first day.

Me: *blushes* It's not a date. It's just lunch. But did you see his eyes?!

Bridget: Yess. His gorgeous green eyes!

I was in a little shock. I didn't think this would happen. I never saw this coming. I had managed to make a friend in my first few steps on school grounds, and now I'm gonna have lunch with the cutest guy. I wonder what he's like. I wonder who he is?
