Chapter one: Screaming Voices (Stormy Weather)

"Come on, Manon, give that back!" Marinette calls out to Manon as she chases her around her room.

"But I want to be a fashion designer too!" Manon screams as she jumps over the sofa. Marinette falls on the sofa in defeat.

"Please, Manon, it's not finished! Stop messing about, I need to support Adrien at his photo shoot!" Marinette cries out then hears Manon giggle. Marinette gets up then crashes into a nearby table, "Ow!" Marinette screams in pain then realises that Manon is hiding under the curtains. Marinette walks over to the curtain then Manon pops out with Marinette's phone.

"I'm going to vote for Mireille, she's the best!" Manon shouts out and starts to go through Marinette's phone trying to find the messages.

"Manon, give back my phone!" Marinette shrieks and grabs her phone from Manon. Manon grabs Marinette's hat and runs off again.

"Why did I agree to do this?" Marinette asks herself and Tikki comes out of her purse, "Stay low, Tikki." Marinette hisses and shields Tikki away from Manon. Tikki giggles.

"Don't worry, Marinette. You know what? If you can handle Manon for the day then any villain from here on out will be a piece of cake." Tikki consoles Marinette.

"Tikki, how am I supposed to get her to listen? I need to go to the park to support Adrien but Manon is driving me crazy, wait! I've got an idea!" Marinette shouts and Tikki hides back in Marinette's purse, "Manon, it's a very nice day out so I thought that we should go to the park!" Marinette announced and Manon let out a huge cheer.

"Yay!" Manon cheers and takes Marinette's hand, dragging her to the door before Marinette brings Manon to a halt.

"Hold on, Manon. You can only go to the park if you're behaved. Will you behave, Manon?" Marinette asks the child. Manon nods and Marinette gives her a big smile before they head to the park. Once the two girls reach the park Marinette realises that Adrien is already there, getting ready for his photo shoot.

"Thanks for being here today, Marinette, it means a lot for you to support me." Adrien explains to her. Marinette couldn't help but blush at Adrien's remark.

"What are friends for?" Marinette states.

"Alright, Adrien, give me the smile you give to your mum when she brings you spaghetti! Beautiful! Yes, that's it! Bravo!" the photographer gushes as Adrien gives him a big smile, "Oh, no, now mama has dropped the spaghetti! And you have to eat the spaghetti off the floor!" Adrien gives him an angry look, "Oh yes, you're angry! Show me the angry face! Yes! Fantastic!"

"Marinette, I want a balloon with Mireille on it! Come on; get me a balloon with Mireille on it! Please, please, please! Marinette! Marinette! Marinette stop staring at that blonde boy, you have to go get me a balloon! Marinette!" Manon pesters Marinette then pulls on one of her pigtails causing her to scream.

"Manon that really hurt!" Marinette shrieks at the small child who mumbles that she is sorry straight after.

"Silence! I simply cannot work with all this noise around!" the photographer snaps at the two girls.

"Sorry." Marinette apologises as Adrien gives her a sympathetic look.

"No, it's not Marinette's fault. She just came to support me. I knew that she was meant to babysit Manon but she came to support me anyway." Adrien defends his best friend. The photographer knots his eyebrows together and looks between the two teenagers.

"I do not care whose fault it is! All I care about is getting these photos done before it goes dark!" the photographer exclaims then proceeds to photograph Adrien once again.
