Tonight's the night

Okay guys :) here we go again:) this is like chapter 9 or something like that okay :) so we left off after the kiss on the roof :)

Dans POV

I don't know why I kissed her. It just felt so right. I just wanted her to feel special and appreciated for once. The kiss felt kinda nice but I knew we were never going to be anything more than friends. She was still sitting beside me the wind slowly blowing through her hair. She was still smiling and her cheeks were still a bit red from blushing. I starred into the distance thinking about how amazing she was and how special this moment was.

Lily's POV

My heart was still beating through my chest. I can't believe he kissed me. I couldn't help but smile. I looked at dan, he was staring into the distance his eyes like galaxy's far away. You could tell her was thinking hard. I wonder what he was thinking about?. I clicked my fingers in front of his face.

"Dannnnn" I said . He suddenly perked up.

"Sorry aha I was well out of it" he said embarassed.

4 hours later.

Dans POV

we were in the van going to the venue for the gig. Woody and will were in the front and me ,Kyle and lily were in the back. Everyone was buzzing. I started to mumble lyrics to myself.

"We were young and drinking in the park there was no where else to go" I heard lily beside me mumbling the next line under her breathe.

"And you said you always had my back,but how were we to know?"

Kyle Laughed.We were all smiling brightly.

Lily's POV

I was so excited. I'd never seen bastille live but I'd watch them perform at gigs on YouTube and they seemed amazing. To think I was in their van right now, just chilling with them all! Crazy. Absolutely crazy. They were all so kind and genuine. I never want this to end I thought. This is something I would only dream about!

3 minutes later

We were at the venue now and the excitement was rising through me. Tonight was going to be the best night of my life,I could tell. Everyone unpacked leads,speakers and microphones out of the back of the van and we went round the back entrance and into the venue. I was so frickin excited but dan seemed really nervous. I held his hand as we walked in my crutches making me wobble around. He smiled at me but I could feel his hands shaking.
