Lily's P.O.V

Dan finished his hair eventualllyyyyy. I pretended to look at a watch on my wrist and he laughed.

"Sorry sorry I'm done" he ruffled his hair one last time and handed me my crutches. I sighed. I hated using the crutches I felt like dan had to walk really slowly so not to leave me behind.

"What's up" dan said he looked worried.

"Oh nothing " I said and fake smiled at him

" no come on what's up" dan loosely held my hand

"I just don't want to use my crutches, I feel so pathetic like I'm weighing you down, I just want to walk normally! It's so frustrating!" I looked away from his vision embarrassed. I felt my cheeks getting redder. I just felt pathetic.

"Hey, hey it's okay lily, I understand, well how about we don't take your crutches?" Dan said.

"What do you mean? I can't walk without them" I said confused.

" who said anything about walking" he grinned and pointed to his back. "Get on!" He said so I did. I laughed as he shut the doors with his elbows. He ran down the stairs and I squealed. It was so fun. Eventually we got to the bottom of the stairs and we burst threw the doors into the street. At first I thought we were getting in dans car but he started walking down a different road with me happy as Larry on his back. We plodded down the street the sun shining over us. We got a few weird looks but we didn't care. No one would get in our way. We were invincible. Eventually we reached the town centre. It was a large glass building with offices surrounding it.

"Let's goooo!" Dan said

Dans P.O.V

We went through the automatic doors and into the town centre which I knew extremely well.

"Where do you want to go first" I asked Lilly turning my head slightly.

"I don't mind" I heard her from behind me

"Hmm how about something to eat then?" I said

"Sure!" Lily said.

I walked to my favourite cafe and we got a table. I put lily down on the sofa and I sat on the chair opposite the table.

"Here is the menu madam" I said passing her the menu. She laughed

"Thank you sir" she opened the menu her eyes skimming the words.

"Can I have the full English breakfast please with orange juice?" She said.

"Of corse young lady" I said and called a waitress over.

Waitresses P.O.V

On the table was dan the guy who came to the cafe regularly. He was normally with his band mates (i was a big fan of their music)but today he was with a girl.

"Hiya what can I get you today?" I asked

"Hey umm can we have the full EnglishX2 and 1 apple juice and an orange juice please" he smiled as I wrote it down in my little notepad.

"Of corse you can" I smiled and walked off with the menus.

Lilly's p.o.v

I sat there for a while just relaxing and enjoying dans company.

"So how is the birthday girl on this fine morning" dan asked taking off his hoodie and putting it on the back of his chair.

"Very well thank you!" I said "thanks to you"

" it is my pleasure" dan said.

It wasn't long till our breakfast came and we both tucked in to it eagerly. I was only half way through eating mine when Daniel put his knife and fork down!

"Woah man!" I said. Dan blushed.

"Sorry I was hungry.." He laughed.

Dan paid the bill, left a tip and got me on his back again.

"Let's go to the roof garden!" Dan said turning a right and going up some steps. He opened a door and we were on the roof garden. It was beautiful! It was so big and colourful with flowers and benches everywhere. It was so peaceful as there was nobody else up there. Dan carefully placed me on a wooden bench and sat next to me our thighs touching. Dan turned his head towards mine and our noses touched slightly. I giggled.

"Lily " dan whispered

"Yes?" I asked

"Oh it's nothing" dan said

"No come on! Spill it!" I said , I was curious.

He lent in closer and our lips Locked together. We kissed. It was bliss. It wasn't rushed or awkward. It was just right. Slow and peaceful. I wasn't expecting it but it was lush. His lips were soft and his eyes sparkled into mine. He pulled away "I'm sorry" he blushed bright red.

"It's fine" I said smiling uncountably.

"I don't want to break our friendship lily , I don't want to make things awkward, I just felt that was right.. I'm sorry.."I stopped him mid sentence

"Hey I'm not complaining! A kiss from the lead singer of my favourite band on my birthday! " he smirked and I hugged him. The hug was warm and his arms comforted me. I breathed in the smell of his aftershave and felt the warmth of his Skin .I didn't really want to date him but I loved him. Not as a "boyfriend" but as a real friend. Like a brother. He was my angel.
