Oh i feel overjoyed-dan smith

Lily the band cat.

I wrote this is just over ten minutes so I hope it's not too crappy :/ I'm really glad your still reading this story! Love you!

Lily's POV

I had been talking to dan for over two hours in the cafe when the waitress starting looking twitchy and kept staring at us.

"Guess we should go" dan said laughing and putting on his hoody.

He held my hand as we walked down the street together as if we had not a worry in the whole wide world.

My phone start buzzing in my pocket,so we stopped and unlinked hands.

"Lily this is Claire you were meant to be back 1 hour a go!"she said angrily.

"Shit... Sorry ... I lost track of time.." I said nervously. I'd never heard Claire angry before.

"Who are you with?" She said. I bet she guessed I was with dan.

"Oh nobody.. I've just been shopping " I lied

"Right okay head home now" she said

*she hung up*

I bit my lip. What was I to do? There was no way I was leaving dan now not after being away from him for such a long time.i was about to tell dan what Claire had said when suddenly I was flung over someone's Shoukder,I screamed.

"Got ya!" Said the cheery familiar voice of chris wood my most favourite drummer of all time.

"woody you scared me!!!" I said hitting him playfully whilst he put me down.

"Oh hi will and Kyle!" I said realising they were there also. I gave them all I massive hug.

"We've missed you lots!" Kyle said ruffling up my hair and smiling a lot.

"Missed you all too!!" I said enjoying their company.

"So who was that on the phone ?" Dan said giving Kyle a high-five.

".. One of the staff at the home.." I said not baring to make eye contact with him.

"Oh..right .. I see... Do you have to go back?" He said lifting up my

Chin so that I had to look into his crystal blue eyes.

I nodded and hugged him breathing in that familiar smell. His warmth filled my body with comfort.

"Please don't leave" he said refusing to let go.

"I have to dan" i pulled away from the hug.

"Lily I can't bare to be away from you again,I just can't,is there no way I can get you back?" He sounded so desperate

I thought carefully about what I was going to say next. I knew it was a risk asking. But I had to ask.

"Dan,adopt me?" I said biting my lip hard,dreading his response.

He was silent.

Dans POV

My mind was going mental. I could adopt here! Then she could be with me forever. She would be like my little sister but for real.

"I would love to !" I said. She smiled. We both smiled.

"We just need to persuade Claire first, it may take time.."

"But it will be worth it!" I said tickling her.

Kyle,woody and will were also smiling behind me.

"Wow,that would be awesome lily, you'd be like our own pet" will laughed.

"Like a cat!" Kyle shouted pointing at his crazy cat teeshirt.

We all laughed. I just hoped things would work out.
