We stop at a cave in a wooded area, it's inside small enough to be hidden from wandering eyes. We all jump in and put our stuff down, exhaustion overwhelming our limbs, our bags are unrolled and we lay down our tired heads.

"Maxi... uh... Gryphon?" I hear a voice say and I wake up to the four of them looking down at me.

"Ja?"

"Where are we, and how long until we get to the capital?" Analise asks for the whole group, and I smile.

"We're already here, this cave is just cover." Their open mouths and wide eyes show their surprise, except for Cat's, she's just standing there with a calculating expression riding her face.

"What are we going to do?" Leah asks, and I get up and start rummaging in my bag, the thing I pull out has had years of wear and tear, and is big enough to cover my wings. I pull it on and hear another gasp, this time it emits from Cat.

"Where did you get that?" she asks, and I turn to face her with the jacket I had stolen from Logan before we left.

"Well, that is an interesting question... the jacket... is only for uh... disguise." I say almost matter of fact like. She folds her arms and smirks.

"Really, you didn't just take it because you were mad at Log-Wolverine?"

"Pfft, no, I didn't... I wouldn't just take something cause I was... cause I was angry!" I laugh and dismiss her with an awkward chuckle. She just shakes her head lightly and I tell everyone to hide their weapons where no one will find them. Piccolo doesn't need a weapon, her powers to match the frequency of any object and obliterate it seems like it would be enough, but Battle Axe has to hide two axes in his jacket and I have to hide my wings in "my" new jacket.

I'm worried about Dick, I hope it doesn't show, but Leah looks at me with worry and I send her a reassuring smile that causes her to smile. My thoughts distract me from hearing the smaller noises in the forest and suddenly we've come apon a road, crowded with pedestrians, we fall in behind them and before we know it, we're in the capital. The city is surrounded by a concrete steel enforced wall and is topped off by a glass-polymer dome. The inside reminds me of the capital from Hungar Games, except for the less extravagant clothing worn by its citizens.

"What exactly are we supposed to be looking for?" Ethan asks.

"Any mutants, citizens who are different than others, even if that difference is just the way they walk, ok?" They all nod unanimously.

"Let's check out the central area, then spread out in twos, I'll be alone and the rest of you will be together, Piccolo with Battle Axe, Masked with Iris, got it?" They reply in the same way. I walk around the circular sidewalk a couple of times with them, and we split up. I go into a coffee shop and stand in line, the three dollars I brought should get me a muffin, but when I see who my cashier is I almost scream. It's Dick.

"Robin, it's me, Maxi." I whisper to him and his confused expression tells me he doesn't remember me.

"Dick Grayson, I know you remember me, and I know that you care about me, so please, snap out of it!" I whisper with more intensity this tim and the look on his face looks like a fog had lifted.

"Don't buy anything with bread in it." he whispers back.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I ask, and he looks at me with all seriousness.

"Do you remember the book series you read in my dimension, Divergent?" I nod my head yes and I remember what the bread had in it.

"Oh, it makes you suseptable to suggestion, ok we have to go, the others are looking for new mutants."

"Come with me, we can Ronde vu with the rest of your team after we get out of this coffee shop." He steps around the counter, says something to another cashier and motions for me to follow him. As I'm led out the backdoor, grabs a bag and I see a price of cloth sticking out of a container. I pull on the black fabric and see blue interwoven in it, creating a bird symbol.

"Dick, it's your suit." I throw it in his direction, he catches it easily.

"Thanks." The corners of his mouth lift upward and his eyes get a faraway look, we continue to walk. The two groups are sitting across the street from each other and I walk over to one. It's Leah and Ethan, Leah blushes whenever we walk over and the other group joins us.

"Who's that?" Analise asks.

"This, is Nightwing."
