"Lorna also said something, but I just remember her saying your name." Dom says as I rush towards the Professor.
"Professor, we need to go to Genosha, right now, I need to find out about my past..."
"Maxine, I know that you feel ready, but your mind has just gone through a traumatic time, you need to wait." Anger, at the Professor, at Logan, at anyone who has treated me like this bubbles up.
"I have to go, I'll be fine, you've already healed me and the worst that could happen is that they'll attack us, but we've already beaten them so why can't we just..." Footsteps behind me announce that Logan's here.
"And you..." I walk up to him and punch him in the face.
"Maxine, don't do this right now." Xavier says.
"Why not, it's not like it'll kill him." Logan grabs my arm before I can get another lick in.
"Logan, somethings not right..."The professor, I flex my claws and try to pry Logan's hand off me.
"Just let go, we have to leave, something's at Genosha, and I will go there alone if I have to!" Logan's, now bloodied, grip tightens and he grabs my other hand.
"Calm down, kid." Something is wrong, I can't calm down, I start to hyperventilate and my stomach tightens.
"Let go, Logan." I say again, and finally break free of his grip.
"I'm going to Genosha and Nightwing is coming with me, plus, I'm keeping this jacket!" I slip past Logan as he makes a grab for me again, and run down the hall, past Domino and bump into Nightwing.
"Let's go, there's something I need to know, and it's not here, we have to go to Genosha." His surprise turns to confusion, and then something else, but I'm not sure what it is.
"Maxi, you can't go right now, you need to calm down, OK?" The professor.
"Why are you trying to stop me, I'm fine, I just got a little angry, people get angry all the time, I mean, look at Logan." I look behind me and actually see Logan looking through the crowd of mutants, probably for me.
"Professor, please let me go, what are you trying to hide?" His face saddens and something grabs me from behind, Logan.
"If you don't stop fighting, kid, I'll nock you out." I look at Nightwing and his expression clears.
"Hey, what are you doing Wolverine?!" Finally, Nightwing's back.
"He's trying to keep me from going to Genosha, but we need to go there, I need to know something about my past." I wiggle and try to get out of Logan's grip but he's stronger than me. I go limp and try to drag my feet, but I barely slow him down.
"Hey, Nightwing, will you help me real quick, please?" I ask him and he nods his head.
"So why can't you go to Genosha?" He asks while trying to help me out.
"Because the Professor doesn't want her to get hurt." Logan replies, and Nightwing stops helping.
"Oh, come on, I'm not going to get hurt." I try to kick Logan or back him into a wall, but I'm barely able to do anything.
"Stop moving, I don't appreciate where you're aiming your kicks." Logan says and literally drags me towards a little room in the cave. He throws me in and gets a telekinetic to block the entrance. Great, I'm stuck in this cave.
I try to break through the barrier but it's too strong, and I'm already tired from all the excitement that just got me thrown in here. I slide down on one of the walls and pull my knees up to my chest. This is going to take forever for me to get out of.
