A/N: I know I already have a song from them, but I'm seriously addicted to this album right now and I love it. Hard Love- Needtobreathe

I'm almost asleep when something feels off, I lift my eyelids a tad and see no one guarding the entry way. Are they really letting me out this easily, because I'm taking any chance I have to get out and find everything about my past.

I silently get up from the hard ground and tiptoe towards the doorway. I slide my hand across the wall and peer around the corner to see Logan asleep with his back against the rock. The jacket slips off easily and I tear towards the cave exit, I hear a cry of surprise as I make it to the outline of the forest. My wings are ready to lift off again and I prep them for my skyward ascent.

"Maxi, wa-" is all I hear before the wind rips the rest of the sentence from my ears, and my wings are free once again to dive into the waters of the atmosphere. I can't believe that I actually left, I'm sure they'll come after me, especially Logan since I still have his jacket.

The only thing that could stop me right now is the brick wall of reality, and it hasn't hit me yet, so I'll still keep going. Down will never be an option, neither will reverse, I'll just keep going at 100 miles an hour, until I get where I'm going, or until I fix everything that's happened.

When I get there, I'll be ready for anything that comes at me, I might bend, but I won't break. I'll be strong, I have to be, or I might as well be insane, even if I wouldn't know if I was or not. I guess there is a fine line between courage and insanity, but I haven't crossed it yet, and I'm not planning to.

Looking down I see the trees becoming more and more scarce, meaning that I'm closing in on the badlands and getting closer to Genosha. When I hear the engine of the jet we had stolen in Belgium, I smile and dive downwards towards the white sand. I can see water coming up and I urge my wings to pull up catching a warm gust of air that pulls me up into the clutches of the cloudy sky.

A voice, so distant, yet growing as I continue to leave the jet behind.

"Maxine, please come back, Genosha-" I cut the professor off and continue my flight towards what is most likely the biggest secret that has ever been kept from me. Genosha.

A flash, not of light, but of memory, hits my mind and I stagger backwards. A young woman in a red outfit, a young man in a blue outfit, and, what looks like, a younger me are playing around with our powers in a grassy area.

"Oh, come on Wanda, why can't I practice today, it's not that windy!" I complain and a dash of silver streaks towards me and stops.

"Sorry little sis', but if Wanda says so, then we have to do it." He smirks.

"Pietro... Stop teasing Maxi," Wanda says to Pietro and telekinetically pushes him.

"Can I please try it once, I'll come right back down, I promise." I look at Wanda with pleading eyes and she sighs.

"You know what Maxi, fine, but don't blame me when dad grounds you for the rest of your life." I grin and start to run until I take off into the sky, but something's wrong, it's not an ordinary windy day, there's a hurricane and I'm thrown into the already thrashing waves that were below the grassy cliff. Before I hit them I open my eyes and I'm on the same cliff at Genosha.

I move backwards, away from the edge, and turn around to see the city of secrets gleaming in the setting sun.
