Another What if! Yay! Again I did this over a harsh few weeks....and it is long....so be prepare....and it isn't so happy in some parts.....mwahahahahah!

Dipper POV

I was out in the forest. Stan had sent me to put up sighs. I grumble as I hammer nails into the tree and then hanging sighs. I had one more sigh to do but I wasn't paying any attention where I was going and I trip over a tree root and I rolled down this hill. I crash down to the ground with a thud.

I shook my head as I sat up, "Great just to make this rest of the summer worse." I then tried to stand up but a shooting pain to my ankle stop me and I crash back down to the ground. "Ah! Great a twisted ankle."

I rub my ankle gingerly and started to look around, "Hello? Hello! Anyone out there! Please someone please help me!"

Nothing.

I deeply sigh, "Great."

I waited there for who knows how long and I called out a few times and still no answer. I shiver as a cold breeze came by. "Great. I'm stuck here and I'm going to freeze to death or be eaten by wolves."

"Dipper? Dipper!" A voice called out.

"Mabel! Oh my gosh! Mabel over here!" I called out.

Then Mabel came down the hill, "Dipper, are you alright?"

"No. I twisted my ankle."

Mabel came to my side and looked at my ankle. I wince as she gently touched it, "It looks bad." Then she looks at me, "I'm going back to the shack and get some help alright. Stay here."

"Does it look like I have a choice?"

Mabel didn't answer me. She just rush up the small hill and ran back to the shack. It was a few minutes before Mabel came back with Grunkle Stan. "Are you alright kid?" Grunkle Stan questioned. "Just my ankle." I reply.

"Here let me see." Grunkle Stan reply.

Then he moved down my sock and I wince as he touch my swollen ankle, "Well kid, looks like to be a bad one. I'm just glad that it was just your ankle that just got hurt and no the rest of you. We just got to ice it and stay off of it." Then Grunkle Stan picked me up in his arms and we went back to the mystery shack.

I sat on the couch as Grunkle Stan gently took off my shoe and place an ice back on it. The coldness felt nice but my ankle throbs. "There...let that ice sit for a while." Stan ordered. Then he left the room.

Mabel then came to the room and hit me on my arm, I cried out in pain, "Ow! Mabel! That hurt!"

"I had to cancel a date with my boyfriend because you!" She snapped at me.

"A boyfriend? When did this happen?"

"About 15 minutes after you left. We were playing to hang out but you didn't come home and it was getting late and so I blew off Norman and came to find you."

"Oh...well..."

Mabel then gently shoves my shoulder, "But its fine Dipper. I was just giving you a hard time. You are more important than a boy." I smiled, "That's good."

Mabel smiled, "Yeah, he seem pretty sweet and I'm planning to go hang out with him tomorrow if you aren't hurting so bad."

"I'll be fine." I reply.

Mabel didn't really believe me, "We'll see."

The next day...Mabel was right. My ankle was hurting so bad and swelled up even more. They had to take me to the hospital which took all day. I got my treatment for my ankle and came home with a brace around my ankle. I couldn't walk for a few days. Sure I had crutches but didn't trust using them around the house. Too many stairs and small spaces. So Mabel stayed around and helped me with everything. As a little get better present from Stan he gave me a blue and white pine tree hat from the shop, since when I fell I lost my star hat. Since Mabel have been helping me, this boyfriend that she had got upset with her after a week. He was growing impatient and broke up with Mabel.
