This one is also short but interesting.

What if Gravity Falls wasn't full of the supernatural? BY: GravityDies

Dipper POV

I sigh as I put my feet on the coffee table and turns on the TV. It was only the beginning of the summer and it was already boring then heck. I surf through the channels and of course there was nothing there.

I sigh again. I didn't know what's worse....school or being bored. I don't like school because of the bullies there. Of course I love the school but going there and getting bullied over and over again and not be able to do anything...it sucks. Also being bored sucks too.

Mom came into the living room, "Dipper?"

I look up, "Yeah Mom?"

"Where is your sister?"

"Upstairs doing something."

Mom slowly nod her head, "Well...I'm just wondering what you think about this...idea that me and your father had."

I sat up more in the sofa, feet off of the coffee table, "Like what?"

"Well...you have your great uncle Stanford..." She started.

"Yeah?" I urge her to continue. Great uncle Ford was smart guy. He went to college and graduated early as he was top of his class...and so on. He was a science teacher at a small town called Gravity Falls. It was a small sleepy town up in Oregon.

Mom sighs, "I think you and Mabel should go there for the summer."

"What?!" I cried out.

"Honey I know you don't like him very much."

"I don't know him very much. We only see him once in a while. He is our great uncle so he isn't that close."

"Dipper Pines, stop talking about your great uncle like that. He isn't that bad. Especially you. You like science things. I thought you would like this."

"It's a sleepy town in the middle of nowhere!"

Mom sigh, as she rubs the bridge of her nose, "Dipper please."

I sigh and said nothing else as Mom continues, "You and Mabel are going up there for the summer. You need fresh air and to do something other than just suffering through the TV and making sweaters or any other art project. The forest out there is a great place to be for the summer."

I mumble as I fold my arms. Mom sighs again, "It's already been made Dipper."

"You made plans before going through with us?"

"Honey...just deal with it."

I sigh, "Yes Mom."

"You're leaving tomorrow. So start packing."

"Tomorrow!"

Mom left before anything else. I groan as I lean back into the sofa. This was going to be the most boring summer in the history of summer.

Time moved quicker than I like. We were already on the bus to our great uncle's house. It was a dragging trip. Mabel tried making it fun, "Come on Dipper! It would be great!"

I mumbled to myself. Mabel playfully shove me, "You don't need your TV, computer, or video games. Enjoy the fresh air and nature! It would be amazing!"

I sigh, "We will see."

Mabel was looking out in the window, "I thought you like Grunkle Ford."

"You still call him Grunkle Ford?"
