After the outburst that happened an hour ago,Alfred had given me a cup of tea and a blanket. But what I still didn't know was why I was still here,

"It's your strength."Batman blurted out destroying the silence.

I looked at him confused,"My what?"

"That's the reason you're here.My research showed that you have held back so much of that anger that it also increased your strength."he explained.

"How is that even possible?"I asked him.

"It's not,but it must have to do with that eye of yours."he said.

"M-My eye?"I questioned and held my eyepatch.

"Maybe it triggered something inside you."he stated.

"I-I don't understand. How can my other eye trigger strength?"I asked him.

"It can't but when you were beaten by Spike's gang I was able to get a sample of your blood and it was just as I expected it to b--" "W-Wait...how do you know about Spike's gang beating me up?"

He just looked at me,my eyes grew wide and I was completely shocked.

"Oh my god,"I muttered,"you were watching the whole time!"I exclaimed.

He had that stare still plastered on his face,I gritted my teeth then closed my eyes and took a deep breath, trying my best to calm myself down.
After 5 seconds I glared at him,I was too stunned to even think.

"Why?"was the first thing I said.

He kept looking at me,"Because I wanted to see if you could get overwhelmed by it to the point where you would...kill them."

I looked away and stared at my tea,"Batman...why am I so...different?Why did God do this to me?I was always good, always tried in school and always tried to be nice and help others who needed it.Am I so badly cursed that now whenever people saw my eye they saw...him?"I questioned tears rushing down my face.

Batman walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder,"Rebecca, you're the most bravest and most mature kid I've ever seen.I couldn't even live with myself if I saw him every day in the mirror."

"It's just so hard."I admitted more tears falling down my face,"People think that I wanted to be him just because of that night."

"Yet you and I both know the truth."he stated.

"And you promised to leave it be."I told him.

He looked at me like he was observing me,he looked like he was trying to have a stare down with me."Why?"he blurted.

"Why what?"I asked.

"Why do you want people to think negative of you?"he questioned.

I glared at the ground,"Many reasons,sir."

"Tell me.Let me help you."he tried.

I looked up at him,"No."
