Any reasonable explanations pt.2

Hey guys,sorry I haven't posted for a while.I have a lot of schoolwork and other things I had to do but since it's the 75th Anniversary of Batman,I decided to finish a chapter,so enjoy. :)

"Snakes."Wally said with doubt,"What they have a pet snake or something?"

I shook my head,"It seems impossible,"I mumble and continue to type on my computer,"but it isn't.No matter how many times I refresh or reanalyze...it's just not right."

"But it is."that deep and booming voice bellows from the shadows.

"Been wondering when you'd come out."I say while Wally holds in a little girl scream.

"I've had my suspicions when those men came in and talked to Commissioner Gordon,he never rescheduled."he explains.

"So they kidnapped her?!"Wally exclaims.

"No,they took her to a ball."I say sarcastically.

"Dude."he says in a warning tone.

"You two get back to the Manor,the league and I will take this case."Batman stats.

"Why not The Team?"Wally asks.

"Because where she might be is far more dangerous than any task you guys have ever taken."Batman explains.

I sigh and I nod,"Fine but...we're not kids anymore.We should be give--" "Robin."he says cutting me off.

I shut my mouth and look at the floor,"Sorry."

"I'll be back soon,tell Alfred that too."he stats and leaves.

Wally picks me up bridal style,I glare at him but he smirks,"Flash delivery."he sings and he speeds out of the house.

In seconds we're back in the manor,"Do that one more time and I'll backdrop you again."I threaten and he chuckles.

"Where do you think they held her up anyways?"he asks and I think for a moment.

There are millions of places. . .maybe. . ."If the chip is still active,"I start then walk to the bat-computer,"then we can go to the exact--" "Whoa whoa whoa,"Wally says cutting me off,"who's this we?"

I look at him,"Me and you."

He glares at me,"Dude!My parents think I'm in bed and we have a course in about. . .three hours!"

"Come on,Wally!I can't do this without you."I admit and he keeps scowling at me.

I sigh,"There's a hidden cabinet in the bottom left cabinet in the kitchen that's filled with junk food. . .if you come with me,I'll tell you the code."

He crosses his arms,"I knew it!M'gann told me that was where they stored more vegetables!"

I chuckle and type the chips number,"Searching."the computer said and after three minutes,"Search failed,location of chip in unknown region."

"Bull!"I exclaim and slam my fist hard.

"What's wrong?!"Wally asks.

"We have every location on Earth,how could this be?"I mumble.

"What about other planets?"he suggests and I snort.

"What?Little green men abducted her."I scoff.

"Dude,Miss Martian is from Mars and Supey is half-kryptonian!"he states.

"So where could she be?"I question.

He shrugs and I finally remember,"Let's go."I say.

"Where we going?"he asks.

"I still have the exact location of where the van vanished,maybe we could find some clues."I explain and he picks me up bridal style.

"Flash Del--Ow!"I slap him in the back of his head.

He zooms to the location and we see tire tracks heading into. . ."A cornfield?"Wally mutters and we see that none of the corn is damaged.

"It flew?"Wally jokes.

"This isn't funny,Wally.We have a kidnapping here,now find some clues."I say and he nods.

After a couple minutes or so,"Anything?"he asks and I shake my head but to be honest,I wasn't even looking,all my attention was on the marks.

"What if?"I mutter and scrape some of the rubber.

"Computer analyze mark."I ordered my computer.

"Sample here."it said and I put the mark on the screen.

"Scanning,"it stated and after eight seconds,it showed all marks and details it had.

"What's. . .Element X?"Wally asks as the computer showed all the details the mark had.

My eyes widened,"It's. . .fire!"

"Uh okay?"he chuckles.

"No. . .it's the fire of the gods."
