Just a girl

I couldn't believe I was actually going with them!I was quiet during the whole trip and only looked at the ground wondering where we were going.But when I finally looked up I saw we were in a dark place but soon I saw a light and sure enough I knew we were in The Batcave,I looked around the place my eyes growing wide as we got further inside.
Batman parked in the middle of it all and soon the roof popped open and they jumped out,I slowly took my head out and saw they were waiting for me.Batman had his normal brooding look and Robin had a smirk on his face.
I took a deep breath and got out of the car,I got chills when I came out and I could feel cool wind hit my warm body.

"Why am I here?"I asked them.

Batman squinted his eyes at me,"I've been researching you,Rebecca.Your life,Karen's,that tragedy."

I looked at him wide eyed then looked down at the their feet,"What do you want from me?"

"Besides all that,we know about what you've been giving to Karen."Robin said.

"So you're here to take me in."I said.

"No.""Yes."Batman and Robin said at the same time.

"We're not?"Robin questioned.

"No,you have something that people want.You may not know it but you're not who you think you are,Rebecca."Batman explained.

"W-What?"I stammered.

"I've known for a while who you were,who you were to become."he said.

"I don't get it?I'm just a girl,a simple girl who lived with a messed up guardian."I snapped.

"Then explain Karen's death."Batman questioned.

I paused,"She just...overdosed."

"Overdose?"Robin said.

I glared at him,"Yes overdosed!I saw her..."her pale lifeless body on the floor it just made my stomach twist when I think about her.

They looked at each other and then back at me,"You gave her a bag of cocaine,the night she died."Batman said.

I nodded,"Yes."

Batman paused and looked as if he was ready to take me in,"She didn't die of an overdose,Rebecca."

I looked at him a bit stunned then glared at him tears starting to burn my eyes,"Yes she did!I was there when I got home!She was on the ground,lifeless!"I spat,my lips quivering.

Batman walked over to me and place a hand on my shoulder,"Rebecca...Karen was murdered."
