“Camila.” Y/N said breathlessly.
Camila shook her head and went running out of the apartment. Y/N ran after her, Lauren calling her fiancee name to try and stop her from chasing the other Cuban, but it didn’t stop her. Y/N didn’t really think, she couldn’t help but go after her best friend. She knew that Camila wouldn’t talk the news well. At all actually. And she wished that Camila hadn’t of found out from the way she had. She wished that she would’ve just told her when she had seen her just a half hour ago.
Camila continued to run while Y/N kept up right behind her, calling her name to try and get Camila to hear her out but the girl just kept going. She ran down the stairs, ignoring the elevator because she knew that Y/N would be able to trap her inside of it. But then a thought crossed Camila’s mind. A stupid one, she knew, but she couldn’t help herself as she now couldn’t seem to have it leave her mind.
When they got onto the fourth floor of the building, she stopped suddenly from going down the steps and let Y/N get to her. Y/N breathed hard, “Just let me say something, okay? Then you can yell at me or be mad but first let me – “
She was cut off from talking because then suddenly… Camila’s lips were on hers.
She didn’t reciprocate the kiss. She just froze. She didn’t know how to react. Camila’s hands were holding her face against hers, keeping their lips together. The kiss only lasted about 3 seconds, but it was ultimately 3 seconds too long and Y/N knew that Lauren wouldn’t take the action too fondly.
Y/N eyes were wide and Camila’s hands immediately went over her own mouth, shocked from her own actions and that she had actually went through with it. She never wanted to do that to Lauren, what Lauren had done to her many times during the relationship Camila once had with Y/N. She felt terrible for kissing her just now and she knew that it was a mistake.
“I’m so sorry.” Camila said, shaking her head and quickly turning away, running once again from Y/N.
Only this time, Y/N let her go. She knew that she needed to after what had just happened.
As Y/N trudged back to her apartment, her head was hung low and she was heartbroken. She was heartbroken though because she knows that Camila was hurt. At this point, she had no clue in how to fix things between them. She didn’t know if their friendship was repairable at this point because, for all she knew, Camila could hate her now. Camila could despise her now and the thought alone killed Y/N inside. She was just about to fucking tell her, but she had forgotten that Camila still had a key to the apartment. Which is why Camila had probably just let herself in like usual.
Camila wasn’t use to knocking. Especially at her own apartment. Technically though, now, it was only Y/N’s, but the thought had slipped her mind when she was coming up to the door of the apartment and she had just walked it. She didn’t expect to walk in with the news that she had found out. If anything, she expected to be welcomed into the apartment with open arms from Y/N and watching some High School Musical for their reunion they just had.
Y/N went straight to her room, sat at the end of the bed and face planted into the palms of her hands. She shook her head and then heard the bedroom door open. She knew it was Lauren. She just didn’t want to look up at her fiancé at the moment because she knew that she had to tell her about the kiss Camila had just planted onto her own lips.
