The loud vibrations from my phone on the nightstand wake me up. I open my eyes and look at my phone. It's 8:11AM and there's a missed call and text form Emory. I look over and see Eva's still sleep. I shake her shoulder, she doesn't move. I shake her again and she moves a little, then sighs.

    "Eva," I call.

    "Huh?" She answers sleepily.

    "Time to get up."

    She doesn't move for a minute, then gets up and stretches.

    "Feel like breakfast?" She asks.

    "Nah, I got shit to do. I'll catch you later," I say hoping she gets the hint to leave.

    She gives a disappointed look and starts to put her clothes on. I throw on some basketball shorts and walk her to the door.

    "See you later," she smiles.

    "Aight."

    I close and lock the door behind her and go back into my room. I unlock my phone and look at my unread message.

Emory: (8:05AM) Good Morning 😊

- (8:20AM) Wassup

    I put my phone down and grab a t-shirt and a pair of boxers so I can take a shower. I really ain't mean to let Eva stay the night, but after three rounds, she had a nigga tired. I thought she was never going to stop.

    After showering and getting dressed, I check my phone and see Emory texted me back.

Emory: (8:45AM) Nothing much. Bored and lonely like always.

- (8:53AM) Why you always bored and lonely?

Emory: (8:56AM) My roommate is always gone. She's really my only friend here. She works and spends a lot of time with her bf.

- (9:00AM) I feel ya. My roommate be with his gf a lot too but I don't be here most of the time.

Emory: (9:03AM) At least you have other friends you can hang with!

- (9:07AM) Yeah I guess. What you doin today?

Emory: (9:13AM) Homework

- (9:17AM) How bout we get lunch later that way you ain't bored and lonely all day?

Emory: (9:19AM) Okay, what time?

- (9:20AM) 1?

Emory: (9:23AM) Sure sounds good!

- (9:25AM) Aight I'll hit you up when I'm on the way

    Emory is a cool girl and I like hanging out with her. She's different from the girls I normally chill with. She got a different vibe about her. Unlike a lot of other girls, I know she ain't the type that would let me fuck her on the first night and I respect her for that. I ain't always looking for that, but if a girl showing me she down and I'm down, why not?

    I leave the house a little after 12:30 and head over to pick up Emory. When I pull up, I text her and let her know I'm downstairs. She comes down and gets in the car.
