Got the idea from this part in the movie. But isn't exact
Sam POV:

Nia and I are on the boat turning around to get the gang. Nia stands up and plays music on her phone that is connected to the boat's speakers. She clicks 'play' I'm assuming because a couple seconds later 'Die a Happy Man' by Nelly starts playing. Out of the corner of my eye I see a boat.

"HOLD ON!" I yell to Nia and I make a quick turn. I make the turn just in time and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I turn back to see if Nia is okay. Only she isn't there. I look in the water for her. I see her about 300 feet away.

"NIA!" I yell as I turn the boat around.

"SAM!" I hear her yell back.

"NIA HOLD ON!" She keeps going under the water, from her not being able to swim.

"SAM HELP ME!"

I pull the boat up close to her and I tell her to swim and grab my hand.

"I can't. I can't" She keeps whispering those two little words. She is about 10 feet away. She went underwater again and I could see her slowly going down. I grab a lifejacket and jump in. I managed to grab Nia's hand. She held onto my hand super tight. I pulled us up to the surface and Nia takes the life jacket. She sits on it and holds onto me. We make it to the boat.

"I told you to hold on!" I yell at her for scaring me.

"I didn't have any time to react! You moved too fast. I'm sorry." She started yelling but it died down to a whisper. She continues to stand but she looks at the floor.

"No. It is my fault for not paying closer attention to where I was going. I'm sorry." I walk over to her and pull her in close for a hug. I remember that she doesn't have any dry clothes so I walk over to my letterman's jacket.

"Here." I hand her my jacket.

"Your letterman jacket?"

"Yea. Not like I'm gonna wear it." She smiles and giggles.

"How about we get the others and go home?" She nods her head and then she walks to the front of the boat. She lays down and falls asleep. I go slow so she won't get sprayed with water. I get to the others and they are loud and obnoxious. Katelyn comes into the boat while Theo and I hook the tube up to the boat.

"She really likes you." Katelyn speaks out of nowhere.

"I like her a lot too."

"A few nights we stayed up all night texting about you." She looks at me and I smile. I tow pull the tube to the dock and they hop off. Theo and Oliver put the tube away and the girl's unpack the boat. I take Nia, in my arms, to the car. I put her in the passenger seat and tilt the seat back so she is laying down. We dock the boat and start driving to Nia's house.
