How I Played Along .

Chapter 2 : It's a Cinnamon Shake.

"This colour suits you." 'My-fake-boyfriend' says as his beautiful blue eyes meets my ohh-so-dull-brown eyes. And trust me it was like he's looking right into my soul.

"Ohh.. Yess! i love this colour." I manage to answer.

"Darling, really?"

"Yess.... Ehhh...honey."
Honey? Seriously Maddie?

Its been 18 years of my existence and I have never ever , ever called someone 'honey' ,Not even in my thoughts.

Well, I'm calling some stranger 'honey' is one thing and i'm being called 'Darling' is another. ( except my parents. They call me 'darling' every single time.).
And above all , This all is happening in public. What if someone see me with this hot-stranger and his mother? I know it will be awkward.

Don't overreact, you stupid!

"Pack these three separately and these separately." I say to the shop owner at the time of billing.
I've purchased two tops and  three ripped jeans. It was really amazing to shop with my fake boyfriend's mom, Atleast i could decide what to buy. Margaret has really good taste in style. By the way His mom's name is Margaret Walter, i asked her.

The whole shopping experience was a total awkward. All this time , this hot guy , well his name is Lee, was with me. Whenever Margaret was with us , we talked using 'darlings', 'sweethearts' and 'honeys'. Otherwise we ignored each other like anything.

what is happening right now and why am i even playing along?

When ever i try to ask lee about what is happening and why to play along? He use to just ignore me and move towards Margaret. Hence, now the only thing i know about him is that I HATE HIM SO MUCH ALREADY.

"Oh Maddie, i'll pay for your things. It's the first time ,since you both are together, that we've met. Allow me to do something for you." Margaret said opening her bag.
I was going to say something but she snap me saying, "...And don't argue with me, ever". Margaret smiles and tap me on my back.
Isn't she cute?

I look at Lee who's standing next to her, busy on his phone.
I really don't get why is he lying to his mom? But i will find out!

Margaret pays and then the counter boy hands me my bag of clothes and Lee with theirs bag of clothes.

Just when we were moving out of the store, i get a call. I hope its from Jack.
I open my bag and pick my phone. Yeah, its Jack!!

"Hello?" I say softly.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiii.." Jack says almost screaming through the phone. I jump a little.

"How are you?"

"I'm good. So what's up". Jack say.

"Don't even ask. Really having fun." WHAT!!! OMG. Stupid Maddie!

Margaret and Lee, both turned around on this reply. I manage to give them a smile.
"Excuse me. I've to take this call. You both go and I'll come right away." I say awkwardly.

"Yah sure, we'll be in food court at that corner. Waiting." . Margaret said and they move towards the food court.

"Hey who are you talking to?" I hear jack say.

"My Boyfriend's Mom." I say jokingly. Yah of- course jokingly.

"What ? I- oh my god your boyfriend!!" He said in shock. Obviously.

"Yesssss !!" I scream a little.

" I don't understand. I thought i'm your Boy-Friend. See you're cheating on me." He say in a serious tone yet sarcastically.
