The real secrets are not the ones I tell. - Mason Cooley

“Guys, they found her body.” as Logan said those words, it was as if time stopped. Lilly couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Tiffany’s body? She couldn’t be dead, right? As much as she wanted to deny it, there was that little voice in the back of Lilly’s mind that told her that it made sense and that Tiffany was in fact dead. Tiffany hadn’t been seen at all after she disappeared the other night at the party, and she never answered anyone’s calls or messages. One of the many thoughts going through her head, was what would she tell Mitchell? He was after all Tiffany’s only brother left. He would be devastated. This brought tears to Lilly’s eyes. Everything was going so well for all of them, even when Tiffany away. Who did this to Tiffany? As horrible as it sounded, there was no doubt that she was murdered.“I know this is a lot to take in” Logan continued. “The police want myself and Kate to go in for a statement about what we saw”
“Wait... did you see Tiffany?” Dawn squeaked.
“Yes. We both did” Logan said, referring to himself and Kate.
“Oh my gosh” Mia gasped. “We’re coming with you then to the station”
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” Lilly asked. She didn’t know whether or not Mitchell would be at the station as well; she couldn’t see him broken once again.

At the police station, the girls stood nervously as they waited for Logan and Kate to be released. Mia was pacing back and forth, while Dawn sat in the corner curled up with her head on her arms. Elora was sitting on the red plastic chair holding her stomach, she looked like she was going to vomit. Lilly was leaning against the wall observing the scene before her; she didn’t understand it. When everything was finally getting back to normal, someone just had to go and kill Tiffany. She played with the stitched bracelet that Mitchell had given her. It was pink and had M+L stitched into it. No one knew who had given her. They wouldn’t even guess it was Mitchell because brothers were off-limits and everyone knew it. Tiffany had set that rule. Lilly couldn’t help it though. Mitchell was perfect, and the ‘secret’ relationship thing was kinda sexy too .
“You two are free to go, thank you,” The girls all looked up as Logan and Kate walked out of the room. Logan looked pale and shaken, while the tears of Kate looked like some sort of facial. The Police women looked around and saw the girls.“Ah, you girls are still here, would you mind coming in?”
“Us?” Lilly squeaked. “Why would they want to speak to us?” She thought. The girls didn’t say anything else, but walked into the questioning room. There they were faced with a man that looked like a detective, a table and six plastic white chairs waiting for them. They each took a seat and the women took one opposite them.
“Good evening girls. I’m detective Michael. I need to just ask you a few questions” The man stated.
“Now, were you or were you not the last people to see Tiffany?”
“Uh, we organised a party for her coming back to Lacewood yesterday night and haven’t seen her since,” Lilly stated, “So, I’m not sure if we are the ones that saw Tiffany last.”
“Well obviously the person that killed her saw her last. Not us” Mia said in a ‘duh’ sort of tone.
“We just need an alibi for each of you girls,” Detective Michael said as he placed his glasses on and picked up a pen. “Elora, you first.”
“I was with my boyfriend, Jacob,” Elora whispered.
“Lilly?”
“I was with a couple a friends, Maddie, Lisa, Sarah, ” Lilly stated. “And mostly thinking about Mitchell”, she thought.
