Arthur smiled as he walked down the halls, flanked by his loyal alphas. He ignored the hateful comments, each of his hands clasped by his loves.
Everything was going great, aside from the jealous Omegas. Arthur was still at the top of his class gradewise, and Alfred had been paying more attention in lessons too. When Arthur had asked him why he suddenly cared, Alfred looked so serious.
"I want to get a good job Arthur." He had said. "I want to be able to support you. My Omega."
Arthur hadn't forgotten his words, and probably never would.
As the end of the year drew to a close, Arthur stressed over colleges. He didn't know very many prestigious universities that accepted Omegas.
Alfred and Francis did their best to comfort him, telling him that only an idiot wouldn't accept someone so bright and talented.
The Alphas left no room for doubt, and often distracted Arthur from his worries with kisses and dates.

Arthur's peers cheered as he finished his valedictorian speech, all standing up and throwing off their hats. Arthur tried to keep the tears in his eyes from falling as he walked down to meet Alfred and Francis, who both gave him a hug.
"I'm so proud, Mon amour." Francis whispered in Arthur's ear.
"Yeah. You've done something some Omegas only dream of!" Alfred agreed loudly.
Arthur blushed brightly. "Really, it's nothing. It's only high school. None of the colleges have messaged me back..."
"We're okay with you being a stay at home parent." Alfred patted Arthur's head.
Arthur huffed. "I want to get somewhere in life. I want to be able to say that I have a successful career."
"A parent is a career." Francis pointed out. "And plus, childbirth is a hard enough job as it is. Oui?"
Arthur covered his face. "God, Francis! Don't be so bloody loud!"
Alfred and Francis chuckled, smiling at their omega. They were proud of him just the way he was, but if it came to it, they would do anything if Arthur could pursue his dreams.
