"So, what brings you here? You know, not with the girls?" Aaron asked out of genuine curiosity.

"I want to talk to Garroth." It came out barely above a whisper.

"I should've guessed you weren't here to catch up with your ol' big brother." He held his heart like he'd been shot, then cast a knowing glance at you with an understanding look in his eyes. "Brendan, I've got to tell you something." He motioned for the clunky brunette to follow him to the opposite end of the room.

You silently thanked Aaron for existing, then set your eyes on the prize. You looked straight ahead at Garroth, eyes widening at the notice of his rippling bare pecs. His gnarly shredded six pack beckoned you in, flexing.

"Oh, hey, ____." Garroth's examined you, while you mostly avoided his gaze in hopes he wouldn't notice the dust of pink across your nose and cheeks. "You came here to see me?" he teased nonchalantly, crossing muscular arms over his bare chest as he leaned back.

"More like tell you something, but seeing you isn't so terrible." You allowed your eyes to wander across his face, making no effort to conceal the motion of your pupils. After studying his defined features, you glanced at his abdomen but shot your eyes away immediately in embarrassment. He was somehow even more sculpted than you'd imagined he would be.

Garroth must've been satisfied with himself, a smug grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. The effect his body had on you entertained him, so he knocked a pencil off of the desk behind him and made a show of bending over to pick it up, his shoulder muscles protruding with additional definition when he reached the floor.

"Oh, you whore. You know exactly what you're doing." Your cheeks flushed to the point that you couldn't hide it, so your last resort was folding your lips inward and squishing them against your teeth in an attempt to hold the hormones in. You inhaled sharply in that position, then released your lips.

"My eyes are up here," he jokingly scolded, undoubtedly with an inflated ego.

"I just wanted to tell you how amazing the people who run this inn are but you're really distracting." You temporarily lost your train of thought because it decided to hop on the one-way track to Garroth station without your consent. You shook the improper fantasies of him out of your head and continued. "They washed my pajamas for me, then gave me this this new pair."

His eyes widened. "I was already planning on tipping large, but now I have to give large. I swear, they're undercharging us. They're doing your laundry and giving you new clothes?"

From the topic of pajamas, your attention was redirected to Garroth's lack there of. He was about to sleep wearing only grey sweatpants.

"Do you—" Garroth got cut short by his Communication Amulet glowing from inside of his pants' pocket. He quickly pulled it out and listened to the voice.

"Hey, Garroth. I hope I'm not disturbing you. It's getting late, but Laurance and I finally came up with a new plan," your Lord's voice projected through the gemstone.

Garroth held the button on the side and spoke into it. "Everyone is situated in the hotel right now, so it's fine." The amulet made a clicking noise, signifying that Garroth had released his thumb from the button.

"Are you in a good place to talk right now?" Lord Aphmau's voice rang through the room, attracting Aaron and Brendan's attention.
