author's note: MYGOSH BUT LETS TALK ABOUT HOW THE YOUNG FOREVER MV CAME OUT ? ITS NOT EVEN MAY YET WTF
After weeks of pestering, Mr. Lee had finally convinced me to join the 'after school music club'. Apparently, I was the only known guitarist at school and if I didn't join, the fate of the music club would be in 'grave danger'. Mr. Lee had a way of over dramatizing things. I denied the offer at first, knowing that joining would interrupt my studies. (You know how much my mom cared about my schooling.) But, after having full approval from my mother, I had no reason to object.
After finding out you were the stranger who bombarded me with annoying messages and gave me the unknown reputation of "psychopath who collects hairs", I decided that it would be best if I avoided you at all costs. I had also decided to wipe the bathroom incident from my memory.
However, after joining the club, I was practically seeing you five days a week. And that sucked. I was annoyed just by looking at you and wished you would ditch music club like you did school. But, despite your constant truancies and unending detention admits, you were a faithful music student. You never missed a day.
But aside from seeing you everyday, music club had begun to grow on me. I grew a special bond with my seat mate, Sujin who played the bass. But, just as I was beginning to warm up to people, Mr. Lee had decided to "make a switch". He was always emphasizing how "change was better." So, when he announced that there would be a new seating chart, I was a bit upset. I was mostly disappointed that I wouldn't be able to talk to Sujin, but I was also afraid that I would have to end up sitting next to you.
By the time the front seats were filled, there were four of us left: you, me, Sara (a freshmen), and Hoseok (whom you weren't friends with yet).
"Please not Taehyung. Don't make me sit next to him." I pleaded quietly.
"You and Taehyung. You guys in the back."
Just my luck! I wanted to scream then. I would've if I wasn't in a classroom filled with music geeks (not that I wasn't one) who all seemed to be judging each other. I dragged myself to the back desk and dropped my backpack a bit too harsh. Hoping you wouldn't initiate any 'friendly conversation' I plugged in my earphones.
"Hey, nice shoes. Where'd you get them?" You whispered.
"What?" I asked taking out one earbud.
"Your shoes? Where'd you get them?" You said leaning closer.
"The store." I replied bluntly.
You scoffed and poked my arm, "Wow you are so difficult."
"Don't touch me. I don't know you." I said coldly.
"Oh really? Everyone knows me and I'm pretty sure we've met before bathroom girl."
I rolled my eyes, then buried my face in my arms.
'why why why why why why why'
