Chapter Six

So it must've been about a month since Kylo and I first locked lips; and I can tell you now, there was no way that we were going to leave it at that. I quite often found myself with my back pressed up against the cold walls of the Starkiller base, Kylo's broad form looming over mine as our fingers tangled in each others hair. The passion was sometimes unreal, and I think that we were both surprised by it due to the fact that loving isn't supposed to be on our agenda's. Numerous times we'd found ourselves disrobed in vacant meeting rooms, training rooms and even a storage cupboard once. And it had gotten to the point now that when we were in the company of others, I could read his sly expression through his helmet - and I liked to assume that he could read mine. He was now permitted to attend the same important meetings as me (as long as he was under my supervision), and as they would drag on at their dreadful pace, I would feel him stand behind my chair and use the Force to massage my tense body; making it almost impossible to focus on what was being discussed in the room. It was only a matter of time before someone found out about us; but that just made it all the more thrilling.

I was currently sat in a meeting with Hux, Phasma and various other individuals that I couldn't be bothered to acknowledge properly. I was bored out of my mind; more so than usual due to the fact that Kylo was in another meeting with Snoke and wasn't here to entertain me like he usually does. I huffed in annoyance and sank lower in my chair, folding my arms over my chest and blowing a strand of hair out of my eyes. Hux had annoyingly insisted that I remove my helmet at meetings from now on, since when I wore it I looked less 'trustworthy' to potential allies. I mean what the fuck is that all about? Of course I'm untrustworthy, I'm a Sith. That's the whole point. I'm just a normal looking young woman when I remove it, and where's the fun in that?

"So (F/n), what are your views on this?"

I blinked.

"Huh?"

"You're views on our next operation. Surely you were listening?" a shit-eating grin spread across Hux's face, and I wanted to wipe it off with my boot.

"Oh yeah, of course I was listening," I feared my tone to be a little sarcastic as I played with the ends of my hair, "but I'm not fussed what you do as long as I have a good role to play."

Hux smiled.

"Well that settles it then - the infiltration operation will go ahead as planned."

"Splendid," I muttered under my breath, more pleased with the fact that the meeting was over and I could go and find Kylo - who was probably sat in his bedroom reading a book on the 'mechanics of lightsabers' or something nerdy like that. As I pulled my helmet back on which was shortly followed by my hood, I couldn't help but feel someone's gaze burning into my back and giving me an uneasy feeling in my mind. I quickly looked about the room, looking for anyone obvious and discovering none, before shaking my head and walking out of the meeting room. I was soon distracted from my pondering however when I collided with a rather solid, wall-like structure. Looking up, I see the familiar mask of Kylo looking back down at me.

"I was just coming to find you," I stated, taking a step away from him

"The meeting was that boring huh?" He asked, knowing full well how tedious they can be.

"Yep. I need a shower," I couldn't help my voice sounding dreary from boredom as I spoke. Kylo looked at me quietly for a moment before letting out a deep breath.

"Is that my cue to join you?" His words were laced with a sly tone, that only I could pick up over his vocoda. I grinned under my mask, before turning in the direction of my room without uttering a word.
