To Cess, my hangover friend that told me about the theme: what’s hot?

KRISA'S POV

One Wednesday morning, my alarm rang. I knew that it was the only day that I go to school to attend the practice. So, I brushed my teeth, took a bath, wore my blouse and pants, prepared my laptop, put on my bag and shoes and I was ready to go.

Quarter to eight, I arrived in school. Of course, I was looking for my friends assumingly that they were here already.  Instead, Nicole Acosta, a trusted friend of mine, a funny chat box saw me in just a glimpse. “Were you waiting for me all the time?” she asked. While she was talking, her voice started to fade as if that you aren’t listening to your teacher and you are thinking of something different. Her voice started to be back to normal.

“KRISTINA!” she screamed.

“What?”  I replied.

“Let’s go upstairs.”

“Ok”

By the time we went up she asked something. “Are we the only ones so far?” “I think so.” I told her.

Then suddenly, someone placed someone’s arm around me. It was Haizel Paguirigan, my friend with the hilarious bangs and an updated girl in where I live. “Ah. Haizel! You’re here!” Nicole and I said that with excitement that we weren’t the only ones that arrived early. “Why would I be late in going to school? Besides, you guys are here! Come on. Let’s go to the basketball court.”

We didn’t continue to go to the fourth floor, which was the basketball court. When I looked at her, she got distracted, ran away to her other friends.

Princess Montemayor, A.K.A. Cess, my friend who I hang out with went near me asking questions. “Is teacher here?” Cess asked. “No. Teacher Liezel is not here yet.” Nicole answered fast. “Well, she was here a while ago, then she just ran off with Stephen near her motor and-”

“She was here?!” I asked Nicole. “Well, yeah! Why you haven’t seen her?” Nicole asked.

Then, a beautiful moment, Bruce was there. Well, Bruce Siquian is my crush since preparatory, he was handsome, his face, OH! He looked like a PERCY JACKSON TO ME!

He was listening on what we’re saying. He was downstairs (just a bit), looking at us like we were being spied by a spy. He wasn’t alone. There was Val Olivete. That mean, old boy just kept talking to Bruce. Good thing that Bruce wasn’t listening to Val but he was paying attention to us.

“Kristina? Hey. Hey! HEY!” Nicole and Cess screamed while their faces went near my face. “What?” I asked. “You’re focusing too much on him!” Nicole said while grabbing my wrists hardly.

“Fine,” I said. “I’ll stop focusing on him, whatever you say.”
