"Hello, Carlos." Kevin smiled, revealing his sharp white teeth. "I've been expecting you."

Carlos slowly walked backwards and pressed up against the wall. "Yeah." He said coldly. Carlos avoided gazing into Kevin's pitch black eyes. Kevin adjusted some papers on his desk and smiled again at Carlos.

"Let's begin, shall we? So, why did you come here today?" Kevin's smile hadn't wavered as he spoke.

"I want to be able to visit Cecil again." Carlos said firmly. Kevin's smile dropped. Carlos gulped.

"No." Kevin said.

"But--"

"I said no. Good day to you, Carlos. Kevin gestured to the door. Carlos strode forward and slammed his hands on Kevin's desk. Kevin uttered a low angry growl in Carlos' direction. Carlos stared into Kevin's cold ebony eyes with rage and hate. He raised his eyebrow attractively.

"What did you say?" He asked firmly. Kevin seemed to shrink a little in his chair.

"I-I said no." Kevin said. He raised his shoulders and seemed to be getting angrier by the second.

"You are going to let me see my boyfriend right now!" Carlos yelled. Kevin snarled and stood up, knocking the chair backwards. It fell to the floor with a "SLAM!. Paper flew to the floor and fluttered in the windowless breeze.

"I said NO!!" Kevin screamed in a low monstrous voice. He seemed to double in height and his teeth looked as if they were growing into long pointed tusks. The room grew darker as Kevin got angrier and "THIS HOSPITAL CAN NOT ALLOW YOU TO TWO TO CARRY OUT SEXUAL INTERCORSE AND NEITHER CAN I!" Carlos leaned across the desk and slapped Kevin's face. He immediately shrank back to his small self and had big, worried eyes. The room immediately grew lighter and reverted back to its original state. Carlos had a serious frown on his face. Kevin stuttered to find words to say. He hiccuped, inhaled, and spoke. "y-you can see Cecil." Kevin whispered. He looked down at his desk in embarrassment and clasped his hands in his lap. His cheeks had gone red.

"Thank you." Carlos said calmly. He turned to walk out of the room.

"You know, we have history together..." Kevin said quietly. Carlos glanced over his shoulder blankly.

"I know. In the desert..." Carlos faded off. He waited for a response.

"I always thought... we could be like that again?" Kevin said. It sounded more like a question than a statement. Carlos sighed and turned around.

"Kevin, I've moved on. And you need to move on, too." Carlos sighed. "I have a boyfriend." Kevin looked up at Carlos with worry.

"Is it Cecil?"

Carlos nodded.

"Oh..." Kevin looked at Carlos' shoes. He had stood up and walked over to Cecil. "...but, I always thought..." Kevin's full black eyes met Carlos' brown ones. Carlos returned the gaze but then adverted his eyes.

"I-I have to go see Cecil." Carlos glanced at Kevin, then turned to walk away. Before he could push open the door, Kevin grabbed Carlos' sleeve and gently tugged.

"Wait." Kevin said. He looked at Carlos with sad eyes. He inhaled. "I love you. And you know that."

"Kevin..."

"Admit it Carlos. No matter how hard you try you can't get me out of your head. Especially  since the desert..." Kevin was no longer making eye contact with Carlos. He was staring at his shoes. His white and black hair hung down over his eyes. Carlos gently pulled his sleeve out of Kevin's grasp.

"Yea, but that was so long ago. I'm over it. And you should be too. Just because you care about me...doesn't mean I care about you." Carlos pushed open the door and walked out, not looking back at the hurt expression on Kevin's face. The door slammed shut, encasing both Kevin and Carlos in anxious silence. Carlos walked down the hall, over to the elevator. As he stepped in, he looked back at the huge black door that he had exited mere seconds ago. "I don't care about him anymore..." Carlos thought. A worried expression crossed his face.

"Or do I?"
