Chapter 4. Misunderstood

Angels pov: "will you be my girlfriend.? Marcus told me. I wanted to say yes but then I thought about it. I met this guy yesterday, barely know him, he hasn't even asked me on a date, and he's asking me to be his girlfriend. Plus my mom would kill me 😒. " Marcus...we barely met and we haven't even been on a date." At Least we should get to know each other before you know we're in a relationship. Marcus nodded," your right sorry ..So will you go on a date with me this Friday then. I nodded and smiled. He grabbed my arm and said " here let me show you something. We walked into the woods a and I freaked out a little. Why are we in the woods. Is he mad I said no..? Wait does this mean I'm going to die then. We soon came across a tree house. He climbed the ladder and I followed close behind. " I come up here when I'm feeling pretty lonely he said while helping me up into the house. I looked around there was a pillow blanket, books, a big window, and some other stuff. He sat on the blanket and I sat next to him. I put my head on his shoulder and looked outside. It was so calm and amazing until we got interrupted by my phone. Why am I always interrupted when I'm with him 😑. I answered it and my mom said to come home so we can go shopping . " Marcus I have to head home and thanks for showing me your treehouse.

Marcus pov: I grabbed her hand as we were waking to her house. Why did I ask her out the day after we met..? Well as soon as she bumped into me and her awesome personality I knew she was the one. I could tell she wasn't like other girls who just want to be with you for a while then break up and go to another boy. We finally got to get house and she gave me a hug but I quickly pulled her hand back and kissed her. She smiled in the kiss and we pulled back. She opened her door and waved at me until she closed her door.
The next day:
Angel's pov:
I woke up from Marcus calling me. " hey"
"Hey angel so I was thinking if you wanted to hang out today at the beach.
"Of course what time?"
"In a hour and a half" "sounds good"
I checked the time and rolled out of bed. I walked over to my swim suits I picked a black to piece swimsuit and a white cover up.(PHOTO ON TOP) I slipped on some sandals and grabbed my sunglasses. I put a towel, sunscreen, and other essentials in my beach bag. I knew where the beach was so I walked there even though Marcus insisted we take his car. As I was walking I saw a couple making out by a tree. Gross. I took a better look and saw it was Marcus. My heart sank and I could feel tears coming. Of course! He was probably just using me how could I have been so stupid. I sped walk away and went into to my room and started to cry.
Marcus pov: I was waiting for Angel to show up and realized I was really thirsty. I went to the nearest snack shack and got a water. I walked back and saw my twin brother Lucas and his
Girlfriend Julie making out by a tree. Gross. " get a room!" I yelled laughing they both blushed and walked towards me. "So when is Angel coming?" Lucas asked. " I don't know I've called her but she doesn't answer..you don't think she stood me up right? Julie and Lucas both shrugged and walked to the beach.
I sat on the bench and waited for what seem like an hour. I knew she wasn't coming now.

Oh no Angel thought it was Marcus when it Lucas. Now Marcus thinks she stood him up and he waited hours. I hope they make up because they still have a date to go on. Btw: in the book it's wensday and there date is Friday. Also she starts school next week next Monday. Thank you for reading and feel free to comment
