The Search for the Legendary Potato

Chapter 4: The Mighty Potato

As I passed and overheard many potato-people's conversations, this was the only one that caught my attention..

I heard it as...

"Whoever beats 'The Mighty Potato' will be given a map that may lead to the 'Legendary Potato'," they said.

I must find this mighty potato!

"Excuse me," I asked a potato-cow, "Where can I find 'The Mighty Potato?'"

Mr. Potato-cow's eyes widened.

"You..," he mooo-ed, "you dare to challenge 'The Mighty Potato?'"

"Yes," I replied.

"I see. You can find it in the forest north from here."

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome, though I must warn you. It's very strong!!"

I ran to the forest and saw a gigantic mouse-liked shape potato. And then I ran towards it.

"You....Are you 'The Mighty Potato' everybody is talking about?" I said.

It said, "The Mighty Potato? How rude they are! They don't even try to know my name!"

"You have a name?" I said with a tone of astonishment.

"How very rude! My name is Pica!"

"W-well then, Mr. Pica..I shall defeat you right now."

"I'M A WOMAN!" she shouted.

"WHAT? You're a woman?" I gape.

And then she said with an annoyed tone, "How very ru---I don't need to waste my time on you..."

"I have come to defeat you," I said.

"And why is that?"

"To get the map to 'The Legendary Potato.'"

"I don't have it."

"B-but they said..."

"So you believe their lies...so that's why a lot of people came to attack me.."

"T-they're lies?!"

"Yes. I shall come to help you in your journey then," she sighed.

"What? Why?"

"To thank you for telling me."

"T-thank you!!"

"I'd like to meet him, anyway...He was my...childhood friend"

"Oh."
