Ride Along

This takes place when Natasha picks up Steve for their mission and the mission enjoy.

Natasha's pov

I knew Steve liked to run in the earlier mornings especially now in D.C. where if you go to the right spot at the right time the view is beautiful. I texted Steve, before driving over, there to meet at the curb. Well assuming he was still where he always is. I pulled up to the curb to find Steve talking to some guy. He probably met him while he was running and probably wanted an autograph or something. Steve started walking to my car, "Hey fellas, do either of you know where the Smithsonian is, I'm here to pick up a fossil."
"That's hilarious." Steve commented at my joke before getting my car. I looked back at the guy Steve was talking to he stared back. "How you doing", the man asked me. "Hey", was all I said back. Steve turned back to the man, "You can't run everywhere."
"No you can't."
And with that we were off. I speeded along the road, trying to concentrate on driving.
"Where we headed?" Steve asked.
"Um.. I don't know actually, Fury doesn't tell me everything." I responded. "But we're headed to the facility right now."
"So I see your making friends in D.C." I said still wondering who was the guy he was just talking too.
"What I can't make friends." His voice playful.
"I didn't say that. I just didn't realize you were the kind of person who meets people on the street."
"Wow." Steve remarked.
I drove through the parking garage in the Triskelion. As I tried to find a decent parking, humming sounds in frustration, until I found a spot to park my car. "Finally" I breathed. I unlock the doors and open my door and Steve does the same.
"We'll go change into gear and head to fury's office for a briefing, then we'll meet with the tac. team for information." Steve said.
I nodded, "Okay, See you around."

Okay I know short chapter I promise the chapters will be way longer, plus this chapter wasn't that good I just wanted to start this story off with a scene from the beginning which I didn't have any ideas for but I ended it short because this chapter really lost the meat of it. My apologies but the chapters will be better and longer. But hey I got a Bucky chapter coming up.
