New York had been hectic and now the days seemed to blur together. I supposed we were just all recovering from the war. Bruce and Tony usually spent their days in the lab on the first four floors. Pepper said life will be so much better with another girl around. I was so grateful. I mean I wasn’t her daughter and so I always felt awkward around her because she and Tony had been together for god knows how long, I don’t think I really remember the day. I suppose I was so young, or I just didn’t pay attention, after all for most of my life I had had my dad to myself another girl in the house was just rivalry. Until I learned how gorgeously kind Pepper was.

My shoulder soon recovered with too much overprotection from Tony who insisted he do everything for me. I got so sick of it after a while. I mean at first I had never experienced someone waiting on me especially when it was Tony Stark. But then it just got too freaky. Like he freaked out when I was struggling to open the cookie jar. He rushed over and tried to open it. I snatched it back from him and opened it like it was a twig. I just laughed.

It took me a little while to get used to seeing myself in the mirror. I mean I saw myself every day, but the cuts and gashes and bruises caused me jump when I saw a beaten Isis facing me. I bruises on my neck scared me the most. They didn’t hurt the most, but they certainly scared me more than any cut or drip of blood. But it was because Loki had put them there. And it was this that scared me even though he was worlds away the damage he had caused was still here and still lingering about long after the battle of New York had finished and had been cleaned up. I dare not touch them for Loki’s fingers had been there and it almost seemed like there was poison on my throat. In reality there sort of were.

I had grown closer to Bruce and I was glad that finally he had found a place where his inventions and somewhere he could be himself without being judged. I mean everyone thinks that the Avengers were a bunch of people who had the world under control. But to be honest they barely had their own lives settled and under control.

It was a lazy Saturday morning and I was sitting upside down on the couch so my head was nearly hitting the ground and my feet were dangling over the top of the couch. I was watching Looney Tunes and once I got past the feeling of having no blood to my brain I noticed that the Looney Tunes world was totally different once seen on a new perspective of angle. I heard the door open and I knew it was Tony because I had heard the crunch of Cocopops before and knew that it was Pepper.
‘Announcement everyone announcement!’ Tony bellow through the kitchen. Then there was silence.
‘Um, well everyone and Naveen’s feet’ I chuckled like a lunatic.
‘Anyway, I have important news; I am holding a party this Tuesday night!’ Tony said. Pepper did a little shriek and I heard her twirl on the spot. Bruce didn’t say anything but I suspect he was happy with the idea.

Tony came and stood infront of the TV and blocked my view of Porky Pig.
‘And Naveen’s stomach what do you think of the idea?’ I laughed and clutched my stomach. My hand grazed over the raised scars and scabs that riddled my flesh.

‘Great idea Mr Stark’ I laughed again and felt really dizzy. I sat up too fast and I felt like my head had screwed off my neck. I giggled like I was drunk.
‘Pepper and Bruce have four heads’ I pointed. Tony held my shoulders.
‘Remind me again why you were watching the TV upside down’ Tony asked as I stood up trying to stay standing.
‘You’d be surprised how funny Looney Tunes is upside down’ I said as I grabbed out some orange juice and drank straight from the carton.
‘Um I was using that orange container for an experiment’ Tony started.
‘A-mm’ I garbled as I drank deeper.
‘A yellow fever experiment’ Bruce filled in. I dropped the carton and spat out the orange juice and it sprayed all over the floor. The two guys cracked up laughing and doubled over in laughter. I grabbed the half empty carton and poured it over Tony’s head. His mouth gaped open and he chased me around the kitchen trying to cover me in flour. Pepper screamed at us to stop but Bruce couldn’t stop laughing. I think I was just continuing for his purpose. I hadn’t seen him laugh before now. And it was rewarding.
