All I can feel is the hate hitting me across the face and I want to punch it back, but there's no use fighting my best friend. All the faith I had in myself, all that I could hold onto was turning to liquid and spilling from my grasp. I discretely walked back down the stairs with Jessica trying to figure out what the fuck I'm suppose to do.

"What are you doing?" She whispered.

I could barely find my voice, "I can't..."

I stop as I hear Brooklyn's mouthwatering moan, "I want you so bad."

I shake my head, trying to convince myself to not run upstairs and beat the shit out of Tahli. "How am I suppose to.." I can't believe I'm asking my girlfriend for advice on how to break up Tahli and Brooklyn's make out session. "We have to pass them. They're literally in the path to get to where we need to be." I whisper back.

Jessica rolls her eyes, "Follow me." She whispered again.

We walk back up the stairs and my anger spiked as I seen that he removed her shirt and now her bra. I hear her moan into his mouth as I look away while Jessica clears her throat.

"What the fuck!" Tahli hissed as he threw his jacket around Brooklyn as she gripped it to her body trying avoid eye contact. "We didn't know anyone else was coming." Tahli says annoyingly.

I wrapped my arm around Jessica's waist as I steered her across the loft and to the smoking room door before opening it. For a split second, I felt the desire to turn around and actually punch my best friend over and over again, then I seen Nick across the room eyeball me taking me into defense mode.

"What the fuck is this?" He questions while pointed at me while his gaze directed towards Elizah.

She looked at him confused before looking my way, "Magoonz!" She cheered before standing up to walk towards me and Jess. She looks back at her friend, "What is a nostalgia drinking night without the whole gang?" She replies to Nicks question. She hugs me before I watched her body language tense up before she hugged Jessica, "Don't worry about him."

"I thought you guys were friends?" Jessica asked me.

Elizah and I looked at Jess as she waited for an explanation. "Oh you know, my boyfriend Nick can be a bit of a drama queen half of the time. He just likes holding onto grudges." 'Nice save E.' I mentally thought. She giggles, "He will be over it soon... Now. Come on in, we have plenty of drinks and weed. Help yourself." She says like its food, before walking away.

"Her and Nick are boyfriend and girlfriend?" Jessica asks.

I shrug, "With their friendship, you never know.."

"Did she just say weed?" Jessica whispers.

I sigh, "Oh yeah. I forgot to mention, the people who hired you, are also pot heads."

She looked nervous but I smile at her, "There's nothing to worry about." I took her hand in mine. Even though we had been arguing a lot, we talked the night I got back from Elizah's and agree'd that there was just so much going on in our lives that it built up so much stress and to just quit being to petty towards each other. But even though we apologized for our behavior, there is still something in the air that just doesn't feel right. "You don't have to smoke." I assure her.

She looked away from me and across the room. "I'll be just fine." She smiles as I follow her gaze across the room and seen Nick look away from us. I look to her face as she sighs again before letting my hand go and walking away towards the pool table. What the fuck is this shit?
