Chapter ten

Marinettes POV
I sat down on the ground, leaning on my bed frame as Chat hugged me close.

"I have to leave, Chat" I said as I stroked his head. I know he doesn't understand this but, he's the reason I'm leaving I thought as I watched his muscles relax with each stroke of his head.

"You can't. You have to stay in Paris... With me, princess" he said before falling asleep. He seems really tired, but I can't let him sleep because his transformation will wear off I thought as I go to move him.

"I... need you, milady" he whispered in his sleep.

"Milady? You mean Ladybug?" I asked as I continued to stroke his head.

"My Ladybug" he mumbled back causing me to blush. Ladybug, is no more I thought as I got up and placed Chat onto my bed.

"I guess I can sleep outside of my room tonight so you can stay here" I thought about it out loud before deciding on it. I guess I can put off leaving until tomorrow I thought stroking his head once more and walking to the door.

"Goodnight, kitty"

Adriens POV
I woke up to the sun hitting my face that was the best sleep I've ever had I thought as I sat up and looked around. This is Marinettes room! I mentally exclaimed as I got up onto my feet and looked around to see half of it packed up. That's right, she's leaving I thought as my heart ached, upset about her decision.

"Plagg, what's the point of being a superhero?" I asked him as I sat on the bed with him floating beside me.

"What do you mean?" He asked looking concerned for me for the first time.

"I can never protect to ones I care for" I said as my voice started to crack, tears threatening to escape their holding cells.

"Care for?" He asked as he sat on my lap and looked up at me.

"Ladybug... Marinette" I said thinking of the two.

"Sometimes being a superhero is hard" he said making me angry.

"How is it hard for you?!" I asked as I sat up which caused him to fly through the air.

"Every generation there is a new Chat Noir and Ladybug, what do you think happened to the previous ones?! What do you think I do? Sit around and watch the time fly by! I think about everyone I lost because of my duties. I can't even talk to my own species because the secret identity of the superhero has to stay secret!" He yelled at me as he flew up to me and pushed me back, causing me to fall into the bed.

"I-" I began but he started to break down.

"The only one I could talk to and who understands me is so close, but I can't talk to them because I have a roll to play" he whispered as he fell onto my lap and cried.

"I'm sorry Plagg, I'm so sorry" I said as I patted his head, trying to calm him down.

Marinettes POV
I saw Chat fly out of my window so I new it was safe to go back in. I walked up the stairs and to the door, only to stop when I found Tikki on the floor, crying.

"Tikki what's wrong?" I asked concerned as I picked her up.

"I just... Miss an old friend" was all she said before hiding away in my bag.

"Oh Tikki" I said as I opened it, picked her up and whipped away her tears.

"Do you think leaving Paris will solve anything? She asked looking me in the eyes.

"No... It won't"

Okay so there wasn't much shipping in this chapter because it was mainly for Plagg and Tikki. I feel bad that they don't see each other so I decided to dedicate them a chapter! Hope it was alright! When this chapter gets 15 votes and 4 update comments I will update! Love you all my butterfrees
