Chapter twelve

Marinettes POV
At first he was shocked by my sudden actions, but it soon subsided and he became more relaxed. I moved my lips away from his, not looking him in the eye.

"Mar-" he began but I couldn't take it.

"I got to go!" I yelled in a rush before leaving the scene as quickly as possible.

"Marinette?!" I heard Adrien call but I couldn't face him. It's up to you now Tikki

Plaggs POV
We stayed there, floating in mid air as we hung onto each other tightly, for what seemed like the longest time. I only pulled away when I heard a door close.

"Marinette must have left, I have to go" Tikki said as she floated over to the window and opened it.

"I'm glad your well, Tiks" I said as I followed her with my head hung low.

"As long as your my partner I'll always be safe" she said before kissing my cheek and floating away to the side walk where she must have met up with Marinette. With a smile on my face I close the window before sitting on the bed, dazed. Adrien opened the door and stumbled in, without a word he slumped onto his bed and just laid there.

"Feeling better?" I asked him as my attitude went back to normal, a smirk appearing as he place two fingers over his lips.

"Much"

Marinettes POV
"Are you better now Tikki?" I asked as I walked home from Adriens.

"Thank you Marinette, though I'm sorry about Chat turning out to be Adrien" she said with a sigh but I only smile.

"I'm both happy and sad I guess, even though Chat said those things to Ladybug he wouldn't dare say them to me, right?" I asked but Tikki had no response. Well at least I hope not I thought as I continued to walk. By the time we got back it was already night time, so I desired to skip dinner and just go to bed. As I sat down on my bed there was a small knock at the window, and I had a feeling to who may be knocking. I walked over and opened it, unexpectedly Chat jumped through and placed his hands on my cheek, pulling me into a kiss as he walked forward, pinning me against my bedroom wall.

"Chat" I mumbled through the kiss but he didn't let me go, the minute our lips parted he pulled me into a tight hug.

"Stay with me" was all he said. Stay with me? What does he mea- oh me leaving Paris, I almost forgot I thought as I turned my head to look at him. He let go and looked up, with a sigh his transformation wore off and reveal Adrien and a little black cat kwami.

"Adrien, I can't stay here" I said as I pushed him aside and sat on my bed.

"Why? I know you knew I was Chat Noir, is that why you're leaving... You're disappointed?" He asked as he sat down beside me, his bangs covering his face. Tears trickled slowly down his face, causing my heart to tighten.

"Your a good kitty" I say with a smile as I lifted his face up and wiped the tears away.

"Marinette, why didn't you tell me you were Ladybug?" He asked making me stop in my tracks. Is this what this is? He only loves me now that he knows I'm Ladybug! Wait how does he eve- I was cut short in my thinking when he answered my mental question.

"Plagg told me" he said pointing to the two kwami's who were leaning on each other asleep.

"It doesn't matter that I am"
