Chapter 12

Jen's POV

"He doesnt seem very happy you're here," I said to mark as we got Daniel down for bed that night.

"He's probably just tired," Mark said.

"I dunno, but he needs to get used to the fact we're together" I said, softly.

Mark shrugged," he will. He has to. I'm not going anywhere."

"Promise?" I smiled, kissing his lips.

"Double extra triple promise," he said kissing me back. I wrapped my arms around him kissing him more.

"Mm what you after?" he chuckled.

"U know what." I said.

"Can you b quiet?" he asked raising a brow.

"Daniel won't be disturbed," I said pulling him to the bedroom.

"Alright if you're sure." he smiled. Making love to Mark was always so intense but I was falling for him quickly. So much so I'd gotten to a Ross who point.

I just began to undress for him. My shirt landing on the ground.

"Is it completely crazy that I am totally crazy for you?" I whispered, going over to him.

"No. It's not," he said smiling. He began to undress, and picked me up carrying me to the bed. Setting me down he kissed me. His hands exploring.

"Your hands are so soft." I whispered.

"Your skin is so soft," Mark said as his kisses moved down my skin.

Minnie's POV

Sitting in the office with Rydel I couldn't be more grateful. We were doing our first implantation today. A whole month later and it was FINALLY happening. I was the nervous one. I wanted this to take on the first try. I hoped she'd get pregnant right away.

"Does it hurt?" I asked as they did the procedure.

"Nope not at all," she smiled. After about ten minutes they set her legs down and smiled.

"Okay so take it easy lots of fluids and in about three days you can start testing. As soon as you get a positive test call me and make an appointment," Dr Rayne smiled.

"Thank you I will," Rydel promised.

"Thank you," I said to the doctor too.

"You're welcome," she smiled and we headed out. I drove us back to the house and Rydel got a bottle of water to drink.

"I really hope this works for you guys," she said sitting down beside me.

"Me too," I said softly. I could already imagine a little girl. We still needed to go look at some houses.

Riker came downstairs," how did it go?" He asked.

"Good I feel fertile," Rydel chuckled.

Riker grinned," that's good. Soon you'll be pregnant than," he said.

"Hopefully," she said as Ellington came downstairs to snuggle up with her.

"You feel okay babe?" he asked.

"Yeah" she smiled. Just then Ross came down with Courtney and Daniel smiling.

"We are heading to take little man to the grocery store you guys need anything??" he asked.

"Pregnancy tests!! Lots of them," Rydel chirped.

"Sure no problem," Ross said," how did it go today?"

"Good, we just have to wait and see," I smiled.

"Okay get some rest, I'll bring home the tests," Ross said kissing Rydel's cheek.

He left with Courtney, them holding hands.

"I'm glad he's finally trying to be happy. I know J is now with mark they're talking about moving into a bigger place for the two of them" Rydel commented.

"He's forgotten all about her," Riker said," so that's good, no trouble."

"Exactly. he's happy and so is she, I guess my dreamer ways are just done now I had such high hopes for them" she said.

"We all did but you can't put people together like dolls," Riker said.

"We'll never see her again," Rydel said sadly.

"You can see her anytime you want, no one is stopping you." I said, softly.

"It seems so disrespectful to you and Ross," Rydel said gently." I don't want to be seeing her and it upset you both."

"I cant stand in the way of your friendship." I said, softly.

"You're not I decided myself," Rydel said hugging me.

"Okay" I said, sadly, "Just, explain it to her, don't just cut her our like she did to all of us."

Rydel nodded," I'll talk to her," she said.

"Okay good," I said. I Sighed I hated that all of this turned out this way, but Ross was happy, Jeny was happy, Daniel was well loved, now we just hate to wait and see if we added another baby to this family. Riker came and sat on the other side of me.

He put his arm around me," we could watch a movie tonight after dinner," he suggested.

"Sounds good" I said, softly. I was so glad in that moment I wasn't Jeny. to have no friends. none at all. Riker kissed me softly taking my hand and intertwining our fingers. He kissed the back of my hand.

"What's on your mind baby?" He asked.

"Just glad I'm not J. ti be so alone and only have her man and her baby, no friends." I said.

"I think if she was really worried she'd do something but she walked away from you without doing anything to save your friendship," Riker said.

"I know that, I was just saying I was glad I wasn't her" I said.

"I know. Anyway I can't picture you leaving, I hope you never do," he said.

"I never could, you are too damn important to me," I said.

He kissed me softly," you're important to me too," he said.

Rydel's POV

Three days later, I was testing. My conversation with Jen hadn't gone well. She understood but was still upset. I had been hanging out with Minnie.

"Well? whats it say?" she asked. I was waiting for it to do something.

"Two more minutes and," just as I was saying that we got a plus sign." I'm pregnant," I said in shock." You're going to be a mom!" I said.

"Really!!!!?!?!?!??!?!?" she squealed.

"Really and truly!" I said hugging her. She hugged me back.

"I can't wait to tell .Riker when he gets home from hockey," she said, her eyes lit up."I want to surprise him with a special dinner."

"Alright, let's get started!!!" she smiled.

"Yay!" Minnie and I went downstairs to make dinner. We were making Riker's after foods.

I also had to call Dr. Rayne. I gave him a call to his office and happily trilled out the good news to Julie at the front desk. Julie congratulated me and set up an appointment for me. I was excited for Riker and Minnie.

"Did you set up your appointment?' Minnie asked as I entered the kitchen.

"Yes it's in two weeks on Tuesday," I answered.

"Oh good," she smiled, 'Riker is gonna be so excited.

"I'm so excited for the both of you," I said.
