I jumped over a log and Mabel fallowed my action. Dipper just stepped over it. I was a bit cautious about being in the woods after my nightmare. But it was just a weird dream, so I shouldn't worry about it. But I felt like something was telling me it was real. That it happened. But I tried to shrug it off.

"So around here is supposed to be where the gnomes live." Dipper said looking at a old battered book. It's cover looked like it was made out of red felt. It had a golden six fingured hand with a 3 in the middle. I remebered seeing that book before. I'm just to sure where. Why do I keep having these feelings? It never happened until....like three days ago. What the heck?

"Gnomes?" I questioned.

"Little runty guys. I don't like them too much." Mabel said swinging a stick around, pretending to be in a sword fight. Dipper ducked as she swung, almost hitting him in the face. "Mabel! Carful!" He scolded. She ignored him.

I looked down at the forest floor and seen that the grass seemed to sparkle. Weird. I looked up and seen that the trees seem  to sparkle, too. "Whoa." I said as I reached for a leaf. I picked it and it looked like it was covered in glitter. I put the leaf in my pocket and continued walking.

"Why are we going this way again?" Mabel asked picking up a rock and tossing it into a small stream. "Because it's a short cut." Dipper answered as we crossed the stream. I almost slipped but Dipper caught me. I blushed and said thanks. His cheeks went a bit red and he just nodded.

We went through a bunch of vines and into a different part of the forest. This one wasn't sparkly, much to my dismay. It was dark....and scary looking.

"Uhh, where are we?" I asked moving a bit closer to the two. Mabel looked around, scared and confused. "This place isn't in the journal." Dipper muttered. "Oh that's nice." I said looking through the trees. Mist formed around us, making it hard to see the ground. The trees closed in on us, covering the sun's light. Everything got darker and made it hard to see.

I grabbed a small flashlight out of my small bag and turned it on. I learned to come prepared.

I looked around in my beam of light and seen that Dipper also had a flashlight. Smart kid. He held his in his mouth and used it to look at his book. Mabel had a glow stick in her hand and she was talking to herself. Something about waddiling and food?

"Somh." Dipper tried to speak. He took the flashlight from his mouth and held it in his hand. "So, y/n. How long have you been in Gravity Falls?"

"Ever sense I was born. " I answered. "How about you?"

"I'm just here for the summer." He said.

"Are you coming back next year?" I asked. He shrugged. "I don't know."

"Guys! I found something!"

We ran to the "Alpha Twin" and seen she was holding a glowing sphere. It's really pretty actually. Reminds me of a star. Wouldn't that be cool if it was a star? And it fell from the sky and landed right were we would find it.

"What is it?" I asked, slightly hoping it was a star. But wouldn't it be a lot bigger. And made of fire and gas? Shut up reality! Don't kill my hope!

"I can't find anything in the journal. Maybe it's because it's not in the map." Dipper said flipping through the book.  So..., maybe it is a shooting star. Sweet!

"It kind looks like a crystal ball though." Mabel said. She set it down and sat next to it. She closed her eyes and waved her hands around the top of the sphere. "Y/n, ask the glowing ball anything you'd like to know the answers to. And it shall have the answer." Mabel said in a weird voice. I laughed and played along. "Oh great and powerful ball." I said bowing down to the glowing star. "Please tell me, is my future free of trouble?" I asked while laughing.

"No."

I jumped back a bit when a voice came from the ball. "Ahh! Voice from the ball!" Mabel shouted stepping back.

"Wait, did it just say no?" Dipper asked getting closer to the ball. What the heck? A voice just spoke from an object, that's not supposed to talk, and he wants to get closer to it? Dude, this guy is awesome.

"No? Why? What's going to happen?" I asked the ball crawling a bit closer to it.

"Y/n Cipher, daughter of Bill Cipher,  your life isn't free from trouble. A day will come when you face a choice. One that will chose the fate of the world you know." The ball said. The fate of the world I know? What?

"W-w-what do you mean?" I asked terrified. I didn't want to know the answer. But I felt like I needed to know it.

"You already know the answer." It said. I gave a look of confusion. I didn't know the answer. Did I? Of corse not. If I did, then I wouldn't have asked. Duh.

"I don't know the answer! Please! Can you tell me the answer!?" I yelled at the orb. Dipper placed a hand on my shoulder. I felt my cheeks heat up at his sudden gesture.

"Limited number of questions has been reached. Come back in seventy-two hours to ask again." Was all it said.

I got and stared at the glowing orb. Who was Bill Cipher? What was the choice I had to make? Why was the fate of the world in my hands? Aand why the heck was there only a limited number of questions?

"Ummm, who wants to leave and never come back?" Mabel asked waking over to me and Dipper. I didn't reply. I only continued to stare at the ball. "Yeah, come on y/n. Let's go." Dipper said taking my hand and guiding me away from the orb. Once again my face lit up by Dipper's actions.
